We had a small lunch here and we very pleased with the service and the quality of the meal. We had a traditinal Faenza salsiccia, which was delicious. The restaurant was very busy over lunch, as it is apparently a local institution and has been for generations. Marianaza is located within a stone's throw from the main Piazza del Popolo,... More

We are staying in Bologna and visiting local towns during our week here. My polenta with local soft cheese with pickled shallots etc has been the best meal of the whole trip.

A traditional trattoria established in the nineteenth century serves local specialities. Decent price for great quality. We had great cappelletti in brodo, delicious lamb ribs and grilled bacon. Nice and fast service even if we arrive just before the midday closure (2:15PM).

Last night visited this trattoria, situated just off the market square in the town. Most of the food is cooked on an open fire in the reastaurant for all to see. A simple, unsophisticated, rustic trattoria that serves the most delicious grilled lamb chops, with grilled vegetables and little roast potatoes, the best potatoes in the area! Very popular with locals... More

We had a great lunch here during our visit to Faenza. We enjoyed several of the pasta dishes. Particularly the on e with ham and mushrooms was great.

Meat cooked on the wood burning grill inside the restaurant. My wife and I both had the grilled lamb chops, actually castrato, which was excellent. The rustic atmosphere is really good and the staff are friendly.

If you want to try a real Romagna Local Food this restaurant is what you looking for. The place is very characteristic, with a big wooden oven where all the meat and vegetable are cooked. Really a great place to eat.
