Have to try the local food and this place is IT! Ate here 2 of the 4 nights that we were in Lecce. The food is amazing and it is family owned and ran.. The chef is Rosealba's son and her daughter (thank god she speaks english) would interpret everything! I ordered the half and half.. Which is half fried... More

The restaurant was full of locals - always a good sign. It was delicious, local food and wine. Service was good and it was one of the highlights of our weekend.

We came to this place by recommendation, it also had a high ranking. Maybe because of our expextations but did not offer more than most of the restaurants in the area. There are a few dishes only, true, they were all good, traditional, local dishes, we tried four of them. The portions are not too large, you can try two... More

We asked for local cuisine and our hotel recommended Alle due Corte, and we were not disappointed. We were not familiar with a number of the dishes because they were traditional local recipes. Everything we ordered was excellent. The bean, tomato and mussels soup was outstanding, as was the eggplant parmesan. This is a very typical Salento restaurant. One of... More

This is one of the few restaurants that we chose to dine twice at during our stay in Lecce. The kitchen is headed up by a celebrated cookery writer whose dishes are reproduced by the chefs, presumably under her supervision (as she was there both times that we visited). All I can suggest is that you explore the menu and... More

We arrived without a booking and were told to return 20 minutes later. The food was nicely cooked and tasty but not particularly large portions. Carafes of wine were pleasant and reasonably priced at EUR 4 per half litre.

We ate here on the recommendation of Filippo from Centro Storrico, and had a marvellous time. The staff were attentive, with one staff member assigned to assist with English translation of the menu. The food was superb, we loved the fried vegetables and aubergine parmigiana. The highlight for me was the wine waiter, a person who was obviously knowledgeable and... More

Charming building in the old town of Lecce, very friendly service and excellent food. We were in Lecce for 13 nights and ate out at a different restaurant each night and this was definitely our favourite. If you go try the chicken in white wine it's superb.
