Restaurant up on the hill overlooking the bay, nice setting. Inside is quite nice with an attentive staff. The food itself was quite good, enjoyed the appetizers, the tooth fish was very good, the sea bream though was a little fishy. The local wines are...enjoyable.More

The view is awesome, high above Lerici. All the dishes we had were beautifully presented and well prepared. The staff were friendly and attentive. It is on the expensive side, but worth it if you are looking for a bit of elegance.

The view from this restaurant is awesome but unfortunately it’s the only thing that astonished me...besides the bill! Prices too high for the poor taste of the meals. Appearances are important, but shouldn’t be the only thing in a restaurant. Why do they care so...much about the water to drink and the espresso when they prepare main courses that are poor of taste?More

Only had breakfast in this nicely laid out and excellently staffed restaurant. Loads of options - European or American. Loved the honeycomb available for cheese - delicious!

In restaurants at some hotels i was can delicious to eat. But not at this time. We with my wife was ordered risotto with saffron and shrimp, and tagliatelle with white rabbit and sauce. Risotto was categorically not edible (rice was cooked on shrimp broth...with a lot of milk cream and solt, which turned it into a liquid salty gruel). Tagliatelli with rabbit were ordinary. It is worth noting the staff's attention and excellent quality of service. For food I do not recommend this place.More

This place is out of balance. Impressed by the magnificent view and a beautiful, candle lit terrace our expectations were set. Presented by a very formal staff, the list for choosing our water raised the bar even higher. It turned out to be one of...six lists for choosing our aperitif, water, meal, wine, coffee, etc. We decided to have the €70 menu of the day (2x). Probably it is the Italian way to serve everything together, but we prefer to get our meal served after finishing our aperitifs. Our request to do so resulted in our first course being served within seconds after we finished our drinks so we couldn't help wondering if it had been waiting in the kitchen all that time. White fish on beetroot was nice, though not exquisite. The pasta primi was below average. Over the last weeks we enjoyed many pastas that were far better and much more tasteful. Main course fish did not impress either. Creme brûlées were OK, but that's no rocket science. Recommended wine (€32 white Kerner) was a good choice but slightly overpriced compared to other wines we had so far. All in all for us this food experience was definitely neither in balance with its appearance, nor with our almost €200 conto.More

I was taken here by a friend to stay in the hotel for 2 nights with our respective children, aged 5 to 14. Arriving late on the first night we had no choice but to eat here. When the waiter came with a water list,...I knew we were in trouble! Very pretentious and expensive, with little affordable food to eat. A plate of pasta for 18 euros! The rooms were ok although there was no soap (the dispenser didn't work in both our rooms so were obviously there just for show!) although the breakfast was a fabulous experience, which balanced out some of the negative aspects. Overall, ok, very central but very overpriced and pretentious.More

When I asked for the bill, there was none, the meal would be charged to my hotel room, so that was OK: Si deve fare fiducia... This place was recommende to us at our Hotel It was our first night of a long week end...at the Golfo dei Poeti. The terrace, the view, the table reservation, the service and the welcome drink were in style. Like in any good Italian restaurant one orders what the chef recommends, if nothing, the menu. There was a mineral water card to choose from, but no San Pellegrino, the one I like. Same went for the the wine card. I asked for the local red wine, which is Rossese. "Local red wine doesn't exist here" was the answer. I chose a well known Piedmont Nebbiolo à la carte instead and it was out of stock and the one recommended turned out not to be worth half of its list price but just drinkable. I communicate in Italian. Misunderstandings are excluded. We had the menu, a slice of some sort of tunafish in a crust, plus coffee and a grappa then I asked for the bill. There was no bill, my hotel room number would be charged. I left a generous tip because the kind staff of the restaurant couldn't be blamed for the mediocrity of the meal and I thought having spent a rather nice first evening at a beautiful place for well under hundred EUROs, as per the menu card. I asked again for the bill before saying good bye and got the same answer again, it would be passed to my hotel. Three days later I would discover a room charge for twice the cost of the meal without bill. Very fishy ! All this left a bad aftertaste. Fortunately the days after we dined at the Gambero Nero in neighbouring Tellaro, wihich I chose without recommendations, by my own criteria of good Ligurian gastronomy and we were absolutely delighted. Beautiful view, great service, and great food means you get a 5 on your review. Pricier than some but worth it. Definitely go here while in Lerici.

This is a very good restaurant, with lovely presentation of good food. It's lovely if the weather is bad or you're tired after travelling to Lerici not to have to hike to an in-town restaurant (the town is mostly pedestrian only) but this is a...good enough restaurant to make the journey from your hotel if you're staying elsewhere. We go to Italy often and are quite comfortable with long dinners but I thought the service somewhat slow, probably because they seemed a bit short-staffed, and not all the staff seemed to be doing all that much. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our meals there and would return.More

No entrance. We were lost entering the restaurant. Waited for 10 minutes to get a water card with water variations going from 3-15 euros. Waited for 5 minutes to see the water appear after selecting. Selected a wine, waited for 10 minutes, they took the...trouble of filling our glasses 1 time. No refills, no questions asked if you want a new bottle over the course of 2,5 hours in the restaurant. GREAT FOOD, GREAT VIEWS that has to be said. Its just that the service is terrible. Asked for the bill 3 times! And its not that they try to up sell you anything during the wait. They just don't have any attention for you as a guest. Stood op twice to get the bill and was sent back with the notion that they would be there soon. 3rd time we stood up and they started to prepare our bill. This is done at the reception, real clumsy all in all. When asked how we liked our stay there I said : Great Food, Crappy service! The guy asked again. I Said : The food was great, the service was terrible... he just went on as if it was he heard this all day long.... All in all I'd advice people to go there for the views and food but don't expect any real service that would be in line with the price you pay and the Michelin name makes you expect.More

Wonderful little restaurant attached to Doria Park Hotel. Great food and wine. Risotto and the raw seafood platter are particularly recommended.

Salted Oysters. Can you image it? Why did they do it? No taste fish, like old bread. Awful. Most disappointing place. Very small portions. Several times were asked about drinks. Pretty annoying.

As we were staying at the hotel, we decided to have diner at the restaurant, having read that it is was the #1 in Lerici, according to Trip Advisor. We were disappointed by the dishes, especially the fish we ordered that were over-cooked. Considering the...price, it was very average food. The deserts were slightly better. The service is a bit pressing and would benefit from leaving more space.More
