I went to celebrate a birthday and the food was so good I almost forgot to give my girlfriend her gift. The only picture I had were after I was half way through my plate so they dont do the restaurant justice but when the...food is this good sometimes the excitement trumps instafood pics.More

The food at Il Corallo is OUTSTANDING! We had dinner at four excellent restaurants in Lipari and Il Corallo was our unanimous favorite. Charming place with personable and friendly staff. Try to get a seat on the charming back patio of you can. All dishes...were terrific — pasta, salads, swordfish, stuffed anchovies, etc. Also a comparative bargain if compared to Fillipino (which is also very good). Don’t miss this one on your visit to Lipari.More

Ordered the seafood risotto. It was creamy, tasty and very generous regarding the seafood to rice ratio. Service was very quick - suspiciously so, no risotto I've ever cooked took less than 10 minutes.

Make sure you hook in advance. This is a quaint little restaurant in the heart of Lipari town. We had wanted to sit in the garden at the rear of the restaurant, but the threat of rain meant that we stopped indoors, but either way...the food was very good. The lobster and pasta was outstanding. Staff friendly.More

We dined here twice and recommended friends who confirmed that they too returned to eat at this delightful family-run restaurant. Food and wine were excellent and the price more than reasonable. A particular thanks goes to Alberto’s mum who made me ‘sarde al beccafico’ even...though they weren’t on the menu the first night. Ravioli alla cernia another ‘must’. Complimentary shot of Marsala wine at the end of the meal was also another plus. Highly recommended!More

Very good first impression from the owner upon making the reservation 24 hours in advance. On arrival, the team did everything to make our dinner very enjoyable, and were very good with our 3.5YO son. In terms of the food, the chef specialises in pasta...and seafood. Both pasta dishes were very large and had very rich sauces. My partner loved her spaghetti and our son wolfed down his tomato pasta with some guidance from me. Apart from some chilli or coriander, the steamed mussels neared perfection. At another table, the swordfish and tomato paccheri looked very appetizing indeed. Very relaxing experience in courtyard would have been improved by further attention to detail in the main courses. Both the king prawns and sirloin were grilled unevenly, and the rocket could have been washed more carefully. Sometimes fairly minor details can make the difference between a good and great main course. In short, I enjoyed our meal, and appreciated both the service and drop of malvasia offered at the end. At 80 euros including service, it represented reasonable reasonable value for money. As it was clearly superior to several peers previously visited, I would strongly recommend it to all other TA users.More

Excellent service from this family run restaurant. Food was amazing with more than generous portions. The lady owner was friendly and engaging. Great price. Definitely the best restaurant in lipari and its reputation is well deserved. Only recommendation is to book a table well in...advance. We did so 2 days in advance as the place is quite small. Highly recommended.More

We were lucky to find a spot and have a dinner at Corallo (don’t go without booking before, is highly improbable to get a spot) All the plates are well served and presented , the personnel is really friendly and taking care about the customer...needs. All the fish plates are super fresh and following the traditional cousine. Highly recommended the grilled gamberoni plate. We stayed 3 nights and Corallo definitively is another category restaurant in Lipari.More

I loved this restaurant. In a seriously touristy town it was hard to find a nice restaurant, with good food and reasonably priced. This place met all those needs. The back yard was very nicely situated under vines and surrounded by greenery. The staff were...warm and helpful and the food was delicious.More

Good food but a miserable organization We were there two times for dinner. The food is very good but the organization is miserable. Both times we got not the ordered main course (after some discussion they changed but my part was ready before I got...my main course) The second visit they came first with the main course for one person and a antipasti for the other one in the same time. When they create a good organization it will be a good place to be.More
