Il Covo is THE place to eat in Milazzo. I have been for both lunch and dinner service over the years and it is never a disappointing experience. The food is sourced locally and is therefore of the freshest quality. Aside from being delicious, the plates (whatever you order) are prepared elegantly and artistically. The extensive wine list is also... More

We had lunxh at this restaurant and the food was very good. The waiter that served us was able to provide information about the food and could reccomend what to eat. We enjoyed very much the "antipasto" with 5 different dishes, including some raw fish. The wine suggested was quite good as well as the final shot of grapa as... More

Have been a few times over the years and the best option is to get a pizza or calzone I found the other dishes either to be small in size or not the best cooking. Safe for a pizza but can get better. Plus side is if you don't speak italian there will be English speaking waiters and its a... More

Visited twice during our stay in Milazzo. Ground floor serves basic choice of starters and pizza only, first floor restaurant is a la carte menu. We only went to the ground floor for pizza etc. On both occasions the service was very good and Mario and his son went out of their way to look after our group of 7.... More

Definitely the best place to eat in Milazzo. The food was fresh and delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant and the staff was wonderful. If you ever find yourself in Milazzo and want to eat at a nice restaurant, sit upstairs at Il Covo Del Pirata you will not be disappointed.

We ate in their upstairs (restaurant) area. My fish was very good- it was in a delicious sauce, while my husband's rolled meat was ok. We had an early morning so didn't order dessert. Over all a pleasant experience.

We stopped in for dinner and were completely blown away. Fish that was as fresh as can be, pasta cooked to perfection and great service. I'm still dreaming about the swordfish ravioli, Complimenti!

This restaurant used to be one of my favorite places to go when I Milazzo. The two story place with the Pizeria on the bottom and the restaurant on the second floor has always been a sinonim of good service and excellent food. Since we arrived in Milazzo we were looking forward to go there and yesterday evening finally we... More
