They weren't very busy and everything took really long. It took nearly an hour to clear away the plates. We could not order a desert, it was too late. Standard Italian fare, nicely presented. Nothing special!!!

My wife and I chose to have dinner here because of the good reviews. It was hard to find, we got help from locals: it is a small stair which leads to the underground level. Once in, it is a very nice place. The terrace was full, but we did not mind because the best view is during day time.... More

Staying at the L'Albergo dell'Academia we were invited to the Cantine Bonaparte for dinner. Within walking distance of the hotel we managed to stumble back to the hotel post dinner. As a group we were offered several courses for a flat fee. All the dishes were fantastic and arranged beautifully. The view is second to none and the single malt... More

Try gnocchi al castelmagno and carne cruda battuta all'albese, together with a bottle of nebbiolo inside a middle age osteria fully refurbished with view on the wine hills ! Very familiar, top quality, wonderful ambience at low price

Terrible services. More than 3 hours for a normal dinner, the food was ok. The waiters missed several dishes, and provide us a boring evening.

It is a beauteful restaurant in the middle of Mondoví with tasty food. Unfortunately that's everything! We have been there with six people and were very disappointed of the bad service. The time between the dishes was so long that we haven't been hungry anymore!!! Furthermore we had to remember the service staff several times to bring our beverages. It... More

Every time we eat at Bonaparte we get good food and good wine. The connections to the underground passageways are interesting. The staff know their food and give good advice. Friends from France, real food lovers, were impressed and rated their meal at Bonaparte five stars!
