Ristorante La Grotta has the ingredients of providing a wonderful Italian dinning experience; it has the family history, the local produces, the famous wines in the region, a beautiful building, a cosy environment at the backdrop of a valley and back of the church, San Biagio. My wife and I enjoyed our visit to this family run restaurant. Food was... More
La Grotta was recommended by the villa we were staying at, and we are so glad that it was - the dinner was amazing, the service was welcoming and efficient, and we had the most wonderful evening of our entire trip. Two restaurants we ate at were the highlights of our trip and this was one of them - highly... More
Wait staff was friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent. Great atmosphere, and it doesn't seem to get very busy--my group and I were the only people there. I highly recommend La Grotta for a great meal of authentic, delicious Tuscan cuisine in a quaint and quiet place.
Our group of four foodie ladies visited la Grotta for lunch and all had the taster's menu. It was delicious and the service was outstanding. This is not the type of place for a quick bite to eat. You must leave enough time to savor the food, the atmosphere and the wine. You won't be sorry. Call ahead for a... More
My husband and I went here for our anniversary on the recommendation of our host and were NOT disappointed. The staff is friendly and kind, the atmosphere is rustic and romantic, and the food...exquisite. This will be one of those experiences that we'll talk about for years.

Parking was difficult as the place was crowded, but once seeded the food, wine and service more than made up for the difficulty in finding . The Rack of Lamb was exellent and cooked as I requested, and the wine, one of the local Nobile was well... More

It was so simple, yet packed with flavor. It was incredibly delicious! We loved that this spot was a little out of... More
