We ate lunch here on a hot summer day. We ordered some pasta and some antipasti which were all very good. Service takes time like in many Italian restaurants and the AC wasn't turned on despite the heat, but the food more than made up for it.

A lovely restaurant just off the square very popular with locals. Contrary to older reviews there is a waitress who speaks very good English. We selected a bottle of very good but inexpensive local red vino. First was an appetizer of crostini with the famous local truffles. I thoroughly enjoyed a soup with the local lentils, prized as being the... More

This restaurant is conveniently located behind the main square. It provides a familiar experience, with gentle service. Try the truffle menu for 31€, it is a good offer for tasting Norcia's black jewel with a crouton appetizer, a rich tagliatelle dish and a tasty scallop with roasted potatoes as side. A good experience when in Norcia.

When the lady working in the laundry next door gave us a thumbs up we knew it was going to be good. And it was! The service was friendly and the food was excellent.

Norcia is a very touristy town. The beauty of this place is that the clientele is either local or Italian. The cooking is completely traditional and authentic with obviously a strong emphasis on the excellent local meat products. Service is friendly and efficient but don't expect the menu to be explained to you in English. Prices are reasonable.

We went during the Truffle festival for lunch there in fact we had to wait half an hour. As soon as you enter the truffles welcomes you with its aroma. We ordered a three courses meal a la carte, all truffles based, all three amazing starting with a truffles scrambled egg, truffle crostini and truffle carpaccio. Then pasta with truffle... More

I went here for lunch with a friend on a Wednesday while visiting Norcia. A local told us about this restaurant. I had the strangozzi alla norcia for 7€. The pasta is from the area. It is similar to tagliatelle, but slightly thicker with only flour and water (no egg). It was homemade and had a great ragu sauce. My... More

We were taken to this restaurant by Roman friends, who had a party of eight together for lunch. We started off with each of us getting a mixed plate of local antipasto, three of them featuring the local truffles. This platter was huge, and very tasty. We then had a sampling dish composed of a gnocchi course and also a... More

Ham, truffles, lentils... After being turned away from other more atmospheric, central and touristy places (sorry, we are fully booked!) we had some hard time finding a place when we came across to this little restaurant, hidden behind the Town Hall and the Monastery of St. Benedict... Inside has a nice environment, normal like any other restaurant... we had a... More
