Had a lovely lunch here a few days ago. Even though last day of October, weather was beautiful and Portovenere busy. Stumbled upon this restaurant - so glad we did. Only a couple of free tables. Service was fine, they were busy and the 2 waiters were attentive. We both had different pasta dishes and both were lovely - full... More

Very simple, the couple before me & my family were told that the outside seating was reserved, but inside was not, so the couple went inside. I then asked for a table for 4, he turned to look at the completely empty restaurant (barring the couple that had just entered) & said, "No, all tables are reserved." Blatant lie. Not... More

Good value and all well prepared. Location on a terrace in a pleasant little square. Small menu but all well prepared. Service is friendly and efficient. Pesto was good with a nice powerful basil flavour, roasted sea bream was very tasty as were the mussels for starter. Overall a very pleasant meal.

Four of us had seafood antipasti here as we didn't want a large meal. The selection presented was excellent and very flavoursome. Obviously can't comment on the other courses but I'm sure they'd be great as there's a clever chef in that kitchen. Dining in their courtyard was a lovely experience. Best to book ahead!

The location in great in the center of the town in a small square. Food has been very good, we did try seafood antipasto gnocchi and tuna Capaccio. The service was very good. To try it when visiting Portovenere.

Even after the waiter told us we couldn't sit were we wanted, then seemed miffed when we wanted to eat outside in the little square by the fountain and wouldn't give us a garlicky butter sauce for dipping our prawns in, we found this charming restaurant delightful, they waiter turned out to be very gracious and nice. I gotta say... More

We were recommended going there. The place is really nicely located with a little piazza with a fountain. That is pretty much the only thing that was nice. The food is quite expensive. I had gnocchi with scampi for 12 €, a small portion of gnocchi with 2 full scampi! Quality was rather poor, even a fork full of meat... More

Arriving late on our first evening in Porto Venere we ate at this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the food, ambience and service. It is positioned on the upper street in Porto Venere and you are able to sit outside in a small square next to the restaurant. It seemed popular with many Italians and we thought it was good value... My wife and I had a sample antipasto with filled mussels, mesciua, anchovies, octopus. It was hot this day, so that was enough for us. The kids had spaghetti pomodoro as usual. We were all satisfied with our food, but I know now that I should have asked for a fiscal receipt, which I didn't receive.
