Great ambiance and delicious food. Full of local Italians so you know it's not a tourist trap. Definitely worth a stop!

Had a great end-of-holiday lunch at del Leone. Great Sunday afternoon family atmosphere. Friendly staff. Sensible portions. Fantastic quality of food both in design and execution. Loved it.

The restaurant also a cooking school - and while the food was good, it was not in the same class as IL Ritrovo. They did pick us up at the bus stop at the top of the hill. It was probably only a 10 minute drive - but still too far to walk given no shoulder on the road. The... More

Over all we were pretty pleased with this restaurant, the menu was not the greatest, and did not have too many options, but we were all able to find something we liked, and were all happy with the meal.

Dear Rosato88, thank you very much for your feedback, we are happy you enjoyed our restaurant and you were happy. I am sad to read you did not find enough options though, as our current menu (visible on our website) features 8 starters, 3 soups, 7 pasta dishes, 6 main courses, 6 desserts. Plus, we always have specials like our... More

We stayed at La Taverna and chose to eat there on the second night. Having read the reviews, we had high expectations, which were exceeded. All four courses were of a very high standard (in the UK, easily two/three AA rosettes), and the service was impeccable, explaining each course while not being patronising. I would highly recommend if you are... More

This restaurant was recommended by a local, and they were accurate in their description of the food and service. We had a great meal with wonderful service. The restaurant was full in late October, so I can only wonder what crowds it must have during the summer. It was located within walking distance of our hotel, Il San Pietro, so... More

We dined here late october and despite the season, the restaurant was busy. The kitchen is open and it was amazing to see the chef/cooks preparing your food. We had several dishes from pasta to seafood, but the ones that will be remembered are the beans soup with seafood (no- nothing heavy as we initially feared for) and the tortellinin... More

The head chef Filomena gave us a great course in cooking pasta. She was patient and very open with little tricks and tips on many things. We were completely delighted by her and her staff, and felt completely at home. The four course meal we had was delicious and very satisfying. Highly recommended for both food and cooking courses.

This was one of the best meals of our honeymoon in Italy and certainly the best in Amalfi. We were picked up from Sponda bus stop, on time, arranged by Giuseppe. We were met on arrival and shown to a 'romantic' couple set (corner together, rather than opposite) table, plenty of room for personal conversation but busy enough for atmosphere.... More

Quality of the food was good and they had a nice selection. All of our guests were happy with their choices. The previous night we decided to come here for pizza, as it was recommended by our hotel and trip advisor. The pizza was good but not great by any means, and the biggest disappointment was ordering a fungi (half)... More

Dear Mr. Drallnb, thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedbacks with us. I am glad to hear you enjoyed our food but at the same time I want to apologize for the pizza not meeting your expectations. In all honesty, fresh mushrooms are very hard to find in this period of the year, and canned... More
