Passed this restaurant several times while in Positano walking to our hotel but never considered going because it was "interior" and mostly everyone-including us-wants dinner with a view in Positano! Luckily we quickly read some reviews and decided to try...and wow, so happy we did!...It's very tastefully decorated and all the wait staff were incredibly friendly, low key and just "cool". They worked seamlessly together through the meal. We weren't super hungry so we ordered one beef dish and the grouper dish and while the portions were small, the flavors and presentation were amazing! We couldn't stop raving! The bread served with the meal was piping hot and so delicious (although we didn't enjoy the olive oil served with it, oddly enough). We also received a small zucchini flower app, and at the end of the meal, we were served a small selection of delicious desserts. Super sweet presentation and great bite-size flavors! We've been eating our way through Italy-as everyone else-and this was definitely our best meal in 8 days! It's on the pricey side but so worth it. So glad we stumbled upon it. Outstanding tasting meal in Positano, with freshly sourced ingredients, perfectly cooked and with a relaxed and effective service. Chef Salvatore De Micco and his brigade surprised us with incredible flavours from the start to finish. My highlights go to the Risotto Mantecatto al provolone del...Monaco with prawn tartare and lemon tree leaves, the Lobster Raviolo with lemon verbena bisque and the interpretation of tiramisu. But all the other courses were packed with flavour and balance! Wow ! When you see so many cliché restaurants around Positano, this is a real place for real foodies and people who appreciate fine dining.More

Wonderful pizza and caprese salad! Service was great and fun atmosphere. Recommend this restaurant highly when you are in Positano!

Delicious food, great atmosphere and super artsy. It’s a small restaurant that has an open concept so you watch your food being crafted. The seats by the door have no view but the rest do. Staff is friendly and explain each course to you. It’s...artsy food so an explanation is required (do I eat it or just look at it kinda place).More

I have been googling where to eat in Positano and somehow this restaurant was not mentioned and seems to be completely under the radar! Long story short, my friend was shopping and I was asking the store owner for recommendation and Casa Mele came up!...We were so lucky, walked in without reservation and found a table and had an amazing meal! Great service, great food which was beautifully presented coupled with good service and friendly staff! A definite must try when visiting Positano!More

This was an unforgettable experience as we sat directly across from the open kitchen and indulged in one of the best meals I've ever heard- would go so far as to say Michelin star worthy- can't miss if in Positano.

You absolutely cannot leave Positano without visiting this restaurant. Thsi is not your typical Positano local cuisine. This is a “chef’s place”….modern open kitchen with creativity in the dishes. Local ingredients, but different. The veal confit appetizer was excellent, as was the yellow tomato risotto for one of us; the other with the daily...catch of sea bream with pesto; a creative coupe aux marrons completed a fine dinner. Excellent service. It’s on the top of the hill where Via Colombo meets Via Marconi….so a good hike from where Via Mulini meets Colombo, or you can take a cab up from Limo of Positano right there.More

Wow! We had such an amazing experience at this brilliant restaurant! EVERYTHING was so good!! The food was absolutely amazing and the service was impeccable! Their whole staff was so lovely. We told our waiter that we had really liked the food, so he went...above and beyond and asked the chef to come and meet us at our table.More

We love small intimate restaurants and this one offers an especially delightful eclectic decor. Also many of the tables offer views of the open kitchen and we were lucky enough to get one of those so we could watch the chefs hard at work putting...together meals that were all beautifully plated and delectable and which made the experience especially enjoyable! The only drawback was the slow service. We visit Positano at least once a year and we will be back.More

Our 3rd visit to this restaurant and still the best in Positano. The restaurant is a fair walk uphill adding to your appetite and the tables are all inside. A wonderful dining experience again - the lamb was so tasty and filling washed down with...a lovely bottle of red. The staff are very attentive with great service not rushed in any way. Raffalle the chef is going places. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.More
