This was an unfortunate choice given the wide choice of restaurants in the area. Very much your tourist targeted restaurant, it was disappointing with inattentive service and uninspired meals. 2 of us ordered lamb chops which were not lamb chops and totally tasteless. In fairness, our friends, who we joined that evening, had been there the previous evening and had... More

I read the reviews and assumed that this would be the first non-stellar meal of our trip. But pasta in Italy...relative to Kansas...is apparently either great or good. I ordered the eggplant pasta with bucatini and sardine sauce. Hubs ordered a porcini fettucine. My pasta really highlighted the freshness of the ingredients. The grilled eggplant was sweet. And the sardine... More

Ordening a lunch looks promissing but afterwards it takes a long time before the bill is made up and then the old trick of a price for a couvert is brought in. We couldnt find any announcement of it but we were asked to pay €2. for each person ..... Don't go. The food is not very good or bad... More

We were very hungry and we were looking for a tourist menu that could include typical sicillian food. This was the best place for our needs. Delicious food and a very friendly staff. Good location is also a very big plus.

This is very much a local's restaurant, which tells you what you need to know. Although the menus are not in English, the staff are very helpful with their limited English, and the food is delicious. For an averaged price restaurant, (30-40euros for 2 including wine with dinner), it ishard to beat.

Situated just next to the main square this is an ideal spot for a quick snack. The service was good and the prices reasonable (considering the excellent location!) Coupled with service "with a smile" made for a nice stay.

Restaurant is well located just off the Duomo centre of Ragusa Ibla. Food was good but nothing to write home about. Service lacked a smile. With such good restaurants in Sicily this was average. Sad, as this place was highly recommended to us by a friend so I assume they might have been having a bad day. Very normal, we... More

I stopped here after reading good reviews from several sources. I ordered the fava bean soup and the cavati and ravioli stuffed with ricotta in a sugo de maiale. Both dishes were tasty. The outdoor setting near the duomo is exceptional, and the food is not overpriced, as it can so often be in big piazzas popular with tourists.

Good traditional Sicilian menu, pasta and meat grills. Excellent service, good selection of local wines.
