Delightful place down an alleyway where the staff care for tourists. It's small handwritten menu, run by the people who you imagine own it. Loved it.

We enjoyed the food and it was nice to be in an alley away from the tourist areas and traffic. The staff was very nice and accommodating and the food was tasty. Our group of 7 enjoyed enjoyed their meal choices. Would come back to this restaurant.

Our host who was Italian suggested this place because we were unimpressed with the restaurants catering for the tourists hoards. We read the reviews which were mixed but still decided to go on the above recommendation. Yes they were busy but I did not find the staff friendly just efficient. The food perhaps we choose poorly but I would not... More

very authentic, we booked to make sure we got a table outside. I had an enormous squid ink risotto to start, enough for 2, really good. My wife had melon and parma ham, but likewise almost too much. She didn't rate her veal but whatever I had was fine(!). Good value, but down a narrow street and somehow lacking in... More

Average bland food at expensive prices. Had to queue to get in, thought that was a good sign, how wrong can you be!! Better food and prices at the so called tourist restaurants over looking the lake.

Probably our favourite trattoria . . . and we spend two months a year in various parts of Italy. Old fashioned in appearance and old fashioned in their approach to cooking. They CARE about food and the menu changes daily or more often. Stars this time were calamari in umido - squid slowly stewed in ? red wine with baby... More

The service is fast and good but the food is just average, some plates are either salty or almost without salt and the menu very limited with few choices. It is more for a quick meal before going to the beach rather than a romantic o family dinner. Il servizio e' di base e manca il salto di qualità. Alcuni... More

We ate here as we liked the location in s quiet lane away from the hustle of the nearby busier areas. We had to wait for s table but were given a glass of Prosecco while we waited, nice touch Once seated we were give the Italian menu but one of the very friendly ladies translated it for us. Good...
