The goulash with dumplings was really good and recommend it. The pasta was great too and the place is very good. The hike makes the food even more worth it. Beautiful views and a great hutte to eat at.

A very popular hut on the slopes. Excellent food. Had a home made pasta with truffles and a mixed grill for two both excellent. Excellent wines.

This only gets a 1 star because of the setting. We were a group of approximately 12. Got seated OK and served drinks and the food orders were taken. Many of us ordered from the reputably excellent grill menu, others ordered soups and pasta etc....After being told the grill food was going to be 10mins after the other orders we waited patiently. More than 30mins later we'd had nothing and had no communication from the staff when it would arrive. After an hour we began to leave. Two dishes turned up as we were leaving but about 6 still missing. There was no apology from the staff and such a mood of arrogance on their part. One staff member thought his time was best spent singing and dancing with customers. It was shambolic at best.More

We stayed two nights here on our Alta Via 1 trip. The place is very charming and well located. Service was very friendly and we had great food - absolutely try their polenta. Each room has their own separate bathroom - which is a luxury...not many huts have. And nothing can beat the two alpacas hosting your. The grill is only available at lunch.More

We stayed in Rifugio Scotoni in September, and what a place, it is clean, friendly and the food was delicious. The walk up is very steep and was delighted with a cool beer after a 21 km hike. It was great value for money and...the walk out was spectacular. We would definitely recommend staying here.More

We spent 7 days hiking hut to hut in the Dolomites. This was easily our favorite spot. Situated is a small garden valley surrounded by mountains, Scotoni feels a little bit like a garden of Eden. Dinner and the wine was delicious. Alex offered samples...of all the local spirits available (mountain grappa). Great atmosphere. Would absolutely return.More

This lunch spot came highly recommended! It couldn't be in a more stunning position in the Hidden Valley! The grill inside was amazing, I wanted to order all of it! However opted for the truffle pasta and it was one of the best dishes I...have ever eaten. It helped make it into a very special day and then just as you ski iff you come across the stunning frozen waterfalls, the icing on the cake!More

I would not recommend this place. Beautiful location but the actual restaurant was not so good. Bad service. The staff was not helpful. It took over an hour to get the food. Food was not the best, there are MUCH better places in the area....I wouldn’t stop here again.More

Rather than repeat what the other reviews say, I can confirm that all the positives are true. Some reviews say it is expensive but it is remote and meat is generally expensive in Europe anyway. It's great value as an overall experience. You must eat...here when skiing Lagazuoi/Cinque TorriMore

We had an excellent lunch in this beautiful and friendly Rifugio. It is a lovely place that even have Lamas in their yard, just awesome for kids and everyone. Very good, friendly and helpful service and food was a delight. Many people order grilled meat,...table next to us, that had about 10 people ordered a huge and very impressive and generous meat platter to share between them. If you are part of meat lover gang - go for it - it looks amazing! Highly recommended stop for lunch, even make small detour to get there, you will have really good time (and food!).More
