This was a restaurant that we stumbled upon wandering around the old town of Sanremo. Affectionately (and accurately) referred to as "La Pigna" or the pinecone, the old town of Sanremo is very atmospheric. It has lots of winding streets and narrow medieval alleyways and this restaurant is at the intersection of a couple of them. Not too far from... More

Amazing place, hidden somewhere in old San Remo. Managed by the pleasant Italian family, this restaurant provides you with a true Italian atmosphere and delicious food of Ligurian origin. Homemade wine is good as well. I'd recommend this restaurant for everyone, who like such cozy places, for those who're looking for delicious food and authentic atmosphere but not for this... More

A great find in Sanremo's Pigna district. The reviews are accurate. It is a simple, family style restaurant with delicious regional and some not so regional offerings and great value. The service is great, in the summer we were served by the owner's son, who is a student on a baseball scholarship in the United States and will likely be... More

Lovely quaint restaurant in old part of city which we stumbled upon whilst taking a walk during the day. Took a note of the street and went back that night. Simple menu and delicious typical Italian food. Worth a try 😀

We stopped here during a visit to the old town. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, to the extent of getting us better chairs without our asking. The food was excellent and great value. Don't miss this lovely place if you are looking for a spot to sit in the sun or in the shade.

Located in the old part of the city, you will find this small restaurant to be a romantic and authentic place. The food is excelent and you have a large choice of local dishes and more traditional Italian dishes. Friendly service and prices that leave you with some money in your pocket to do other things. I ate here with... More

Hidden on the hill behind San Remo market, we stopped by the very nice Italian restaurant. People were very friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent and all that for a really reasonable price. I strongly adivse you to try the menu and have the home made tiramisu for desert!

Here we had a dining experience like no other. This is about as close as we can come to eating in someone's home without receiving an invitation. the trattoria is in the front two rooms of a real family home. What's at the market that morning is what's on our plate. The Woman of the house tells you whats available... More

I had a lunch in Il Mulattiere and the food was very good. The raw material were fresh and simple (olives, tomatoes, olive oil etc.) The rose wine of the house was good too:)
