As we were for lunch, we were greeted at the door by the evening's entertainment. These fellows were excellent and played those tunes that we liked for our era. Our table was ready on time and we were set by a window, which was nice. We started off with a bottle of red wine, Baco Noir by Henry Pelham, highly... More

The food is gourmet and the atmosphere is very warm. The bakery has fresh scones daily and the waitresses are so pleasant.

Went here for the 1st time after my wife went there with a friend. It's a cozy little restaurant with 2 indoor sections, an area by the bar and the main area past that. We were greeted promptly and seated at our table. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. The menu was a wide variety of food experiences with something... More

You will know you have arrived at Ray's in Alton, a small village off Highway 10 in the Caledon Hills, when you notice a large number of cars parked on an otherwise quiet street. It's an hour's drive from Toronto through beautiful countryside, close to the Millcroft Inn and Spa, the Alton Mill Arts Centre and nature trails -- and... More

My wife and I now make a point of having lunch at Ray's each time we stay at the Millcroft Inn. Ray's again didn't disappoint. 2 Saturday's ago, they fitted us in even though fully booked for lunch. The place is small to begin with. But even within tight quarters, we had another great meal and experience. Their blackboard menu... More

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant. We were so impressed with their current extensive menu and wine list. The cheese board appetizer was amazing. Entrees and desserts were perfection. The service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely return.

We met friends for dinner at this restaurant. This was not their first time, and their recommendation did not disappoint! Menus are on chalk boards, there is a long list...chalk boards can be brought closer to your table if you need to see better. Delicious food! Appetizer was Yorkshire pudding with roast beef and horseradish and gravy, this truly could... More
