Small rustic trattoria, warm, welcoming host, mind-blowing execution of dishes from a neapolitan palate. I took 6 friends there for dinner, recommended by a friend of mine in the Spoleto area. What more can I say than that they all insisted we return the next day for the fabled "spaghetti al pomodoro". We ate better the next day. Excellent wine... More

If you are looking for a nice, local restaurant away from the tourists, this is a good bet. We were welcomed by the kind owner with a nice smile and a friendly demeanor. We were the only non-Italians, but that didn't change the quality of the service we were provided. The owner speaks a little English, and I speak a... More

This was our favourite place that we ate in 15 nights touring Tuscany and Umbria. In fact we came back here the next evening too. Atmospheric cellar, delicious imaginative food - eg pasta with truffles, and ravioli with beef, sage and butter. The owner is a bit of a character; welcoming and entertaining. Interesting range of fairly priced local wines... More

We had cutlets of lamb with turnips and grilled vegetables. Then a plate with four cheeses, one ricotta and tre types of pecorini. To end the meal we had a Fernet Branca for the digestivo. We liked the cheeses best.

We have eaten here twice since we arrived in Spoleto. We walked past the ristorante a ew times waiting for the right time to go on, It is a beautiful setting up against a stone wall in a garden with lots of green plants, pretty tables and nice soft jazz playing. The menu is tantalizing and it was hard to... More

We had such a lovely evening in this restaurant! As we were excited to try many of the dishes, starters, primi, secondi and dolci, it took us a moment to make a choice - maybe we seamed a bit chaotic, but the more lovely and patient the service was with us. We ate truffled eggs, two pasta (with wild boar... More

Yes, it’s a bit remote, and yes you have to walk through Spoleto to get there but… you will definitely be rewarded for having walked the extra mile. Warm welcome, excellent food (large plates for primi piatti and a gigantic Tiramisu) and a quiet environment to enjoy it. Even the bill suited our taste!

We had two nice pasta dishes. Not sure who's fault it was but later two grigliatas were brought instead of one. Layer they overcharged 5 euros on the two pasta plates and a stonking 6 euros for 250 cl of house wine To put this in perspective a LITRE if wine normally goes for from 5 to 8 euros. The... More

This is a charming spot under the trees next to the road. Look out for the large bottle 'pig' outside. The food was delicious. We ate every bite. Soup, slow cooked meat pasta, delicious cheese ravioli, desserts. Very kind staff.
