I honestly expected this to be a tourist trap, but was pleasantly surprised. The staff were exptremely friendly and helpful, and the food was very good. The location and the views are stunning.

Got to Stromboli volcanic island by boat, dropped off to see the sights until dusk. At the atmospheric San Vincenzo church, a major Stromboli landmark, it was awe-inspiring, positioned right in front of the almost-perfect pyramidal smouldering volcano. Bar Ingrid – located opposite the church square; the restaurant built on a cliff-edge, with exceptional views of Stromboli. I have gait/walking... More

The view attracted us. Sat down at 1o'clock the pizza oven was off so we both had spaggetti which I honestly could have done better myself. Didn't bother with dessert as staff were slow and rude, when we eventually got the bill there was a 7euro service charge on it which we questioned she mumbled something we couldn't understand and... We went here twice on one day and had a great time. The first time we had the terras to ourselves and had coffee and gelato. The second time it was busy with people but stil it was a nice atmosphere. We had vongole and fried "mini arancini" Both times we had great food. The service is very relaxing. They... More

We were at the restaurant 5-6 times during our 3 days stay in Stromboli: for breakfast, drinks and dinner. The restaurant is situated at the main square, elevated over the coastline and with a fantastic view of the sea. The breakfast was mainly cakes as it is in Sicily. We had very good and tasty pizzas after our hike to... More

This cafe is atop a mountain in Stromboli with a great view and good stopover snacks. But I left here upset with the service... The staff is rude and the cashier (maybe Ingrid?) was polite enough (NOT!!!!!) to let me know that I was in Stromboli when I asked what wifi network to join)... I was almost ready to start... More

The best location in the city. Ate here twice. Once for lunch the other for a café. I had the buffet and ordered the large plate. Although they call it a buffet, the food is behind glass and they serve you what you ask for. I asked for a sample of everything and they looked at me weird and had... More

The place is wonderful up on the hill with a breathtaking panorama. The granita is very good as well as the brioche (a must to eat them together) and the cannolo is very good as well! The best place in Stromboli by far
