If you have the chance to visit Maggiore lake on the Lombardy site you have to try this restaurant! The location is really nice in an old building on the top of the hill of Besozzo. Dishes are sophisticated with a nice balance between tradition and innovation. The owner is a lovely person and the ratio between quality and price... More

We were on a trip to Italy to find wines for our restaurant in Finland. Dropped by for lunch and the owners let us in even if they did not have officially lunch time. We got some wines with us from the nearby enoteca for tasting and they did not mind at all. Menu was modern and playfull approach to... More

The restaurant is on a very nice location with nice view of the city and the phar. When we visited the menu was standard and it was worth it. We also had rose wine which was very good, beautifully combined with the food. The staff was very professional.

We visited the Osteria for a formal business dinner. We had a pre-selected menu of 5 dishes and each one was a real pleasure for the mouth with fresh ingredients, interesting combinations and excellent tastes. I particularly enjoyed the first starter and the dessert because they also had an artistic appearance. Service was great and the wine we chose was... More

Had the best seat in the front of house with a great view. Menu is nice presented and well cooked but not great. Service is correct and very friendly. Price/quality is a bit high but not excessive.

Dinner for 6 last night was fabulous. A little off the beaten track. Antipasto was 5 little tastings, wine list perfect and risotto agrumi was both different and made me want to come back over and over. When in northern Italy it is well worth the drive!

Third time lucky for us to get into this small intimate restaurant and was worth the wait. Small high quality menu with some additional specials. Great friendly service and above all a meal to remember.

We have celebrated my husband's birthday and we had such wonderful time. We have enjoyed the food, the ambience and excellent introduction to the history of restaurant, wine recommended and exquisite food choice. We have truly indulged that evening. Thank you for making our evening so special.

Creative and Molecular Cusine built from the solid base of genuine and popular local tradition. Ununderstandably neglected by The Michelin Guide, this place is taken in a very high consideration by all other sector guides and Gambero Rosso. Definitely worth a trip!
