Lived up to recommendation, the evening meal was so good we returned with friends the following day. Friendly helpful staff, interesting menu and a first floor terrace with a lakeside view in the warmer weather.

Our coach driver recommended this place and he was on the money. Great food and wine with a nice atmosphere and not expensive. Cosy and warm that night from the cold rain was especially welcoming. We had 2 courses each and a fantastic bottle of Barolo. Good value and good service. Greta terrace for summer dining but a nice cave... More

4 of us shared a meal this evening and without exception all enjoyed both courses. I had beef tartare and black rice both were delightful. I hope we return on this trip. Although I will be torn between enjoying those dishes again and my fiancees' choice of ravioli and sea bass. House wine fine and service warm and willing.

The restaurant was very cosy. The service was very good. The menu was not rich, but the food was very delicious. If I go back to the area, I can dine here another time.

The food was nice enough, nothing amazing, but quite good, and we weren't after much, although my tomato and onion Sal could have been made up of Tesco Basics products. But our main point was that it took over half an hour and asking three times to finally get the bill. It was then as difficult to pay and we... More

Had supper on the very pretty and atmospheric terrace surrounded by Italians & chatter. Staff friendly and attentive. Spaghetti frutta di mare & tagiatelle coniglio ragu both exceedingly delicious. Washed down with local rosato. Followed by superlatively creamy gelato. And inexpensive.

Not my very favorite, but it was an enjoyable evening sitting upstairs, on the outside patio. The service was very good and it was a lovely evening. The mussels were a good start.. Spicy, but not too spicy. There were enough to make it a whole meal. The meat for the main course was slightly over cooked but had a... More

My wife and I ate here on three evenings during a seven night stay in Pallanza and found it to be absolutely excellent. The food was superb and staff very friendly and helpful. We suggest booking a table to ensure a table on the small first floor terrace.
