Unfortunately, it was probably the worst pizza during our journey. It wasn’t like typical Italian pizza, this one was too thick and tasteless. The taste was exactly like in some supermarket pizzeria somewhere, but not in Italy. “Salami di Toscana“ (7,50) was a bit better, but "Capricciosa" (9,00) (my favourite type of pizza) was just uneatable. 0,375l of vine cost... We had four great pizzas here. Wonderful friendly service and four great pizzas that were totally demolished. Highly recommended

Being totally undecided about what food we wanted for lunch, we were wondering around the streets of Volterra unable to make a group decision about where to go. Firstly, attracted by the wonderful smells coming from the doorway and secondly by the fact that the long wooden benches inside were packed, I decided that this should be the place to... More

After wandering Volterra looking for somewhere not too touristy or expensive we came across this little pizzeria. Only small, but warm and welcoming with several long tables for customers to sit at. The service was friendly and fast, the pizzas and calzone were really good, very tasty and the coffee was also really good (but it's hard to get a... More

A little pizzeria that serves up good, tuscan style pizza. If you're expecting Naples style pizza, this isn't it. But for the style of pizza served, it's quite good. The pizzeria is definitely a cozy, local joint. There are a few long tables to be shared and encourage conversation with other diners. On the day we went, the pizzaola was... More

This place is the quintessential back-street "ma and pa" run pizzeria serving perhaps the best pizza I've ever had. There is seating for perhaps a dozen diners. My wife and I enjoyed a beer (on tap) as a family of Italians engaged in animated conversation over a few beers and few pizzas while a huge brick oven perfectly cooked our... More

Strangely odd pizza. Flavourless, with practically no toppings and saturated in Soya Oil !!! 2 out of 10. Nice people but poor pizza. Shame to waste an evening's dinner on holiday in this place. Probably only still in business because of aimless tourists wandering in off the street thinking that anywhere with a wood fire oven will do. Avoid.

My wife and I ate in this pizzeria once in October 2012 , but our pizzas were a little bit oversalted. It is a small pizzeria, there are not many places to sit. Location is great in the center of Volterra and the service was good.
