Found this small trattoria just round the corner from the Fasthotel. Food was fantastic: recommend the homemade pasta and the mozzarella affumicato. The owner was super friendly and the price was very reasonable. We'll definitely go back again.

Having read various reviews, and seeing how few options there are near Linate Airport I decided to give it a go. I got the impression that they were just re opening after the COVID shutdowns as there was no menu apart from a hand written...one the owner had. The owner was extremely pleasant and explained the menu to me in English ( aided by the one other patron). I chose Taglaitelli with Pork in a tomato sauce which arrived quickly and tasted great, once I had finished he then proceeded to bring out more pork..(well I didn’t say no). This with a large caraf of house red wine for €20. Basic, Homely and good food…More

What a find, thanks to Trip Advisor! We were staying nearby at the Moxy, which gets mixed reviews for food, so we set out for this restaurant, and found it without difficulty after a 5-7 minute walk on quiet streets. The owner made us feel...welcome in his tiny establishment and we were seated adjacent to some of the locals who obviously frequent it. There were no prices on the menu but it's far from a tourist trap. The bread on the table was some of the best we've tasted on our 10-day trip. We asked for red wine and out came a small carafe. When we polished that off the owner laughed and brought out a liter for us. We ordered a risotto with sausage and a tagliatelle to start. They were both excellent, and the risotto, our first of this trip, was outstanding. For a second course we selected the ribs and, on the owner's recommendation, the three mozzarellas, which offered an interesting taste in contrasts, from fresh to smokey. We love to share our plates and those two choices provided an excellent contrast. We got the impression that a three-course meal was standard, and we ordered a green salad. It proved to be a sort of butter lettuce drizzled lightly with olive oil that was elegant in its simplicity. At the end of this feast the owner poured us generous glasses of limoncello and even offered seconds, along with a bill for €40. What a bargain and what an experience! We pressed a few more Euros on him for "the ladies in the kitchen" and he seemed to appreciate it. We certainly don't want to "spoil" the place, and our sense is the owners will continue to serve honest home-made style meals at extremely reasonable prices. If you want the next-best experience to being invited into the home of an accomplished Italian cook, find this place.More

This is about 0.2 miles walk from the Moxy Hotel. It's in a typical near-airport location, near business services premises serving Linate airport. Inside it's basic, simple, nothing special but ... the food is good. Menu in Italian, but English spoken. Service very polite and...speedy. I had a primo of pasta in a ragu sauce (really good), followed by a secundo of grilled tuna with a mushrooms side. Plus a carafe of excellent house red. €20. Don't bother with the hotel....More

We were staying at a hotel near Milan Linate Airport the night before our flight back to the US, and we found this restaurant on the internet. It was close and it had great reviews, so we decided to give it a try, and we...are so glad we did. This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is extraordinary - delicious and plentiful. The staff is so friendly and fun! This restaurant was packed with locals. It is clearly a favorite in this community. Everything was so fresh and tasty, from the caprese and seafood appetizers to the main courses (meat ravioli was a favorite of our group) to the delectable desserts. I highly recommend the Baba for dessert. We had never had this dish before, but the owner recommended it and we were so glad he did. I very highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. It is the whole package!!!More

My husband and I were waiting foreverrrrr at our hotel restaurant for our appies (at least 45 min) so we decided to just pay for our drinks and leave. Walked a couple minutes to this place we saw on trip advisor and popped in. Owner...sat us in between a bunch of locals and it was great. We realized pretty quickly that he didn’t speak a lot of English and we were terrible at Italian haha so he gave us the menu and then sat down and google translated the menu to us & printed it off - what great service! He recommended the 3 cheese appie (which we loved) and then we had 2 pastas. Also had 1 litre of house wine (we tried to order 1/2 a litre but wine is great so I’m not mad) and it was all SO good. My husband ordered our leftovers for takeaway but when we went to pay they accidentally threw it out. Not a big deal at all - we were full. But the amazing owner got his wife to make us another Ragu to go, so kind. And after all this our bill was 30 Euro!!! One of the best meals we have had and over all a great experience for our last night!More

My husband and I decided to try this Trattoria after reading these great reviews. We, like many others on Trip Advisor, stayed at a nearby hotel our last night in Italy before our flight. The trattoria is family owned and the hospitality and food were...excellent. We highly recommend the bufalo mozzarella plate. The owner brought out all of the homemade dolce for us to try and was very accommodating of my poor Italian. Truly a hidden gem! We will be back here when in Milan again.More

we were well advised by a bar man to try a restaurant very close to our hotel and we were glad that we managed after really begging for a table to get into the place at a great time as before we had spoken to...the chef owner who had said that the only time available was 7pm - we got a table for 8.30. We ate - spagetti alle vongole tow huge portions of mussels for me and my daughter, great bread, oil and wine, water my husband had grilled prawns, my daughter and i had grilled salmon and we had 3 sides sauteed small pimentos, chicory braised with garlic, and sauteed zucchini - nice portions and very well seasoned we had two deserts, almond biscuits and a lovely lemon and cream cake, two digestifs and one coffee for an amazing price in Milan of 50 euros - it was an original bill of 60 but we were offered a discount of 10!!!! i could not believe it as the night before where i live in Avellino for a meal that was half as prosperous and not as good we paid for two people 56 euros and left totally upset where as here at this great, no frills restaurant we ate like we were at home, service was rapid and polite and even the chef comes out and has a chat when he can ONE OF THE NICEST PLACES I HAVE EATEN IN AGES - THIS IS NOT FINE DINING, THIS IS GOOD HONEST AND AFFORDABLE TASTEY FOOD, COOKED RIGHT AND SERVED TO PERFECTION thank you for a nice surprise, next time at Linate i will definitely book in advance rita, gennaro and maria luisa AVELLINOMore

We went to this little restaurant the night before flying home from Linate. We were staying at the airhotel. The beginning with the ricotta and mozzarella started was great, the pasta dishes good, nothing extremely special, average good homey italian (i am italian myself). But...the cakes were a big disappointment, they were clearly supermarket cakes that tasted artificial, we also expected a slightly lower price for the quality. We got in2: 2 starter,2 pasta, 2 beers and 1 dessert for a total of 40€. Not much details in the receipt neither. Good, yeah, but not a 4,5 on TripAdvisor.More

My wife and I walked to this restaurant from our hotel near the airport based on the TripAdvisor rereviews. We have been to France, Germany, and Italy over 2 weeks. The absolute best meal and food experience was at this restaurant. It is run by...a husband and wife. The lady does the cooking, the husband is the waiter. He asked if we wanted appetizers and we said yes. He brought out 2 plates full of 3 types of mozzarella cheese with fresh bread. It was enough food to feed 6 people. We ordered pasta with pesto and pasta with olive oil and Parmesan cheese for the first course. We had a bottle of red wine as well. For the second course we had eggplant lasagne and sautéed veal. The eggplant dish was phenomenal. He then asked if we wanted dessert and we agreed we did. He left and returned with 3 different desserts. Two types of delicious cake and a homemade cannoli. Then he brings a bottle of lemon liqueur and 2 shot glasses and leaves the bottle. We had several shots of this after dinner drink. Now comes the most amazing part of the meal, the bill. All of this amazing food and wonderful service, 40 euros. We paid 100 euro for a similar meal elsewhere in Italy. There were several other families in there and we all agreed that this was the best meal of our vacations. Trattoria Novegro 11 is something you should not miss if in the area of Linate Airport.More

A good range of choice on the menu, home cooked fresh for you. Friendly family run. Cheap! A much better choice than many more expensive alternatives! Will be back! I had the buffalo cheese and a smoked buffalo chess starter with tomato’s, a pollo fillet...and vegetables and an ice cake, with vino and limoncello! Tip top.More

We had one night at Linate airport and were casting around for a place to eat that wasn't a hotel restaurant. A task made tricky by the fact that it was 2nd January and most places were closed. Reading the reviews below we walked to...Bar Trattoria Novegro 11 and had a wonderful evening. We were very early (about 6pm) and they were preparing the restaurant for a large party. Nevertheless they accommodated us and gave us a wonderfully tasty and authentic four course meal. Little English spoken - and our Italian is limited - but between us we managed to decide on a selection of food that suited all three of us. Wonderful, wonderful food. If I am ever back in the area again, I would go in a heartbeat. And great value for money, too.More

I was here first time in September and then again in November. Both time we asked for suggestions to the chef and we weren t dissapointed. He offers us similar dishes like first time but he prepared in differente way. The final price with wine...for person was 20 eur for first time and 30 eur for second time, but we eat more. I came many times in Milan and eating in different restaurants, but this is no#1 for me and also for may friends. Price quality PERFECT. Only one advice for the chef...a liitle les salt and peper would be perfect that you really feel so good taste of your food. I will come back for sure.More

We were staying at the airport hotel around the corner and had an early flight out. I couldn't face a boring hotel ristorante for my last night in Italy and TA led us here. What a find! What a wonderful ending to our trip. The...Trattoria is very small with just a few tables. I was going to give a detailed description of our meal - but on second thought I think it will ruin your fun. Just go! They will take care of you and serve you some great food. Everything is in Italian, limited help with English but don't let this stop you. And leave room for dessert! You will be happy you went here.More
