Italian restaurant very welcoming. The boss is very caring, a real trip to Italy, the products are fresh and the cuisine authentic. The welcome is warm and sincere. Thank you for this good lunch around a good Italian white wine from Veneto.

Enjoyed a fantastic lunch today en famille (2 adults and 2 under 5s). Not sure if one off or every Sunday but it was a brunch buffet. We all went for refills 3 times. Everything was homemade and delicious. Plenty of veggie options (I am vegetarian). They are very welcoming to kids and even have a little 'corner' with toys and books. Staff v friendly. Loo is modern and clean - well it matters to some! ;)

Excellent pasta and first rate pizza. Best spicy oil for the pizza ever! Very nice house wines but a little on the expensive side. Overall a very pleasant dining experience.

The restaurant was closed when we visited at 8.00 pm (10/08/19). The website stated they were open and whatsmore that morning I had been advised by the restaurant staff that it was open for evening meals.

We recently dined here and it was absolutely dreadful.
Our main course was risotto with pancetta, mushroom and cream sauce.
It was truly inedible , totally overcooked and unbelievably dry.( clearly just thrown into the oven and left ) Not surprisingly we complained to the waiter, who took our dishes back to the kitchen. However, nobody wanted to know and our complaint was simply ignored.We were charged €34 for 2 the inedible dishes (out of a total bill of €75).
It was a terrible experience made worse by the fact that the management totally ignored our complaint. The risotto was a disgrace to Italian cuisine.

Nous sommes navrés que vous n'ayez pas aimé notre risotto, nous avons le soucis quotidien depuis 2014, de faire de notre mieux pour que nos clients passent un bon moment . Je souhaite cependant rétablir la situation. Vous avez commandé une bouteille de vin,mangé une entrée: aubergines a la parmiggiana, que vous avez apprécié, selon vos propres mots, et l' assiette était vide. Ensuite, vous avez commandé 2 risottos pancetta,noisettes,champignons,persillade et crème ( ce risotto que nous avons servis 7 fois, sans aucun retour négatif, ce soir la ). Notre serveur est venu vous voir, vous a demandé si votre repas se passait bien, vous lui avez fait part de votre ressenti, il est tout de suite venu nous voir en cuisine, nous lui avons dit de vous proposer de les refaire plus crémeux, ou de changer ce qui n' etait pas à votre convenance, mais vous avez refusé. Nous cuisinons à la minute, avec des produits frais et de qualité. Si le plat n' avait pas été correct pour etre servi à un client, il serait resté en cuisine. Nous sommes un petit restaurant familial. Nous faisons tout pour ravir nos clients habitués ou non. Vous pouvez ne pas aimer notre façon de cuisiner, je le conçois, mais utiliser les termes " honte pour la cuisine italienne"... Ensuite, en partant, nous aurions apprécié que vous n' interpeliez pas nos autres clients autour de vous...étrange. Enfin, le chef est venu vous voir à votre sortie, vous avez refusé la discussion, en levant le bras... Il etait important que les deux versions de l histoire soient présentées, afin que chacun puissent comprendre. Méritons_-nous réellement cette note HORRIBLE... ?

Whole family had different pizzas and salads, which were excellent.
Then the desserts were incredible too - service was fast, friendly and it was overall a good price for an amazing meal
Although you should either book in advance or turn up soon after opening times to get a table because the locals know how good it is too and make it very busy.

I and friends returned to La cucina today to sample their new brunch menu. This proved to be a great experience not only for the food but also for the variety of dishes. We found the service and the staff as pleasant and efficient as on previous visits and will definitely be returning again and again.

I have been to Agen many times and never thought that there were that many good restaurants but this was a pleasant surprise to find La Cucina. The menu was not a great list of food but a selection of dishes and Pizza. The lady who runs the place is very nice and welcomes you. The food was really good and fresh, and would defiantly go back.

4 of us had lunch here. We all had different things and they were all lovely. The staff are friendly, and the setting is pretty and comfortable. None of us drank but the bill was only 68 Euros, which was also excellent value.

There was a long time I wanted to visit this place because it has a good reviews on TR so my expectations were very high. I did not get dissapointed, we ate pizza and it was a good one (which is hard to find in Agen)!

Just for a change we thought we would try a little bit of Italy in France and certainly not disappointed. It was a public holiday and a busy evening but fortunately we got a table for two. Clearly a popular haunt and it can be easily understood why when you see the varied choices on offer, the personal family touch in dealing with the clients and the delivery of good, tasty and freshly cooked food..we were there as a couple but you can see they are geared up for large groups and a nice touch for families with young children of a small play corner with a blackboard on the wall etc to keep them amused

Had a great experience here. Food was excellent and this is a well run and extremely family friendly restaurant. With 2 young children the staff/owners could not have been more helpful. It is extremely popular so booking is advised. Definitely worth a visit if in Agen.
