If I had consulted trip advisor I wouldn't have gone to this restaurant and being virtually on the beach it did seem a possible tourist trap. We found the staff cheerful and helpfilul and the food was acceptable for the price when considering the location.

On the water, with a large number of tables and attentive service in French or English, this restaurant warrants a visit anytime you decide to see the largest sand trap in Europe. The mussels were very plentiful, with a great selection of sauces. The beer was a little pricey, but the fries were good. We probably could have split one... More

The location is fantastic. Near the sea. The waiter is very attentive and polite. I ordered a two course meal which consisted of mozzarella salad and steak. The mozzarella salad was so big that I was already 80% full before tackling the main course which is the steak and fries. The steak is very nice with a delicious sauce on... More

Came here on a Saturday morning last summer to taste their oyster with freinds. They were super fresh and delicious, the service is ok, the place is ver well loated near the beach. Will come back if I am in town for sure.

We only sat for a beer. There were 4 of us. Two large beers, a small one and I had a soft drink. 30€ for 4 drinks. Won't get caught like that again. Couldn't find anywhere else so expensive. I HATE being ripped off!

I don't think this restaurant deserves such a low score. We had lunch in this restaurant and I ordered the mussels and my husband had a burger. Both were tasty. I agree the alcohol was very expensive at 10 euros a pint of beer but apart from this we had a lovely experience. The staff were attentive too

There's nothing fancy about Le Thiers, just reasonable food at reasonable prices. We fancied the large portion of moules mariners and frites, with a bottle of Chateau Landereau, and it was fine. The liquor used to cook the moules could have been a little more robust, but there was certainly enough to feed us.

Overpriced for what they do. I had linguine carbonara and it was distinctly lukewarm (and WAY too much cream) The house white was delicious - but at 7€ a glass it bloody well should be. It's perhaps not the money so much as the la k of effort to justify it. On the plus side the serving staff were very... More

I have visited this restaurant on several occasions for its outlook and position. I have been prepared to pay over the odds for indifferent food in the past. However I now draw the line at another increase in prices.
