We had a family lunch here. This bistro is part of the market, so very informal with a choice of rather cramped inside seating or outside seating on the edge of the market square - great in good weather, with lots of interest around. The food is very good, served enthusiastically, very copious.

We opted out of the hotel breakfast and headed to this excellent restaurant. We sat outside where we could watch the coming and goings of the outdoor and indoor market. We had an excellent Dejeuner Anglais of bacon and eggs with crusty bread, freshly squeezed orange juice and chocolate chaud. We would recommend this to anyone wanting something other than... More

I thought we had left it too late but on our last day we stuck around shopping and decided to have an early light lunch. Great place in the market, full of typically French men having their daily debate. Very good laid back ambience. Friendly jovial staff. We had a couple if glasses if Tariquet white wine with a free... More

Unpretentious and really good at their business, this place serves great food to locals and tourists. I would (very happily) return to try more!

this restaurant/bar is located inside the market hall but most of its tables are outside in the market. Great atmosphere in the morning. The breakfast included bacon and 2 eggs and a glass of orange and a hot drink. Very nice and nicely presented.

Usually one would expected a food market resto to be good. Well, not this one. I went for one of the day suggestions, under normal circumstances, that would be a wise thing to do in a market resto. Seafood pasta. Being at 100 m of the Atlantic, what can go wrong? Well, it did go wrong. May I suggest, an... More

Returned after three months to see Arcachon in late Summer. Quieter but still as good. Visited several times for drinks and coffee and found something called "Potty" (well pronounced that way.) It was a superb bowl of potato, cabbage, leek in a broth with some pork belly and sausage. A complete meal and cost 10 euro. Also tried the Cafe... More

We are this soup with prawns, chorizo, baby octopuses, onions, yellow capsicum and so forth. A soup version of paella. It was amazing!

Even when we are on foreign shores, we still like to start the day, if possible with a full English breakfast. This is the place to get this. Always had double fried eggs with bacon which was always well trimmed and perfectly cooked. This was served with freshly baked bread, orange juice and coffee. The ambience is wonderful as the... This is by far the best place in Arcachon for breakfast. Perfectly cooked eggs and lean bacon served with fresh bread, great coffee and orange juice. All for under £6. Service is very good - regular staff keeping the easy flow of clients happy. Sit and watch the market breath with shoppers buying their extremely fresh produce, anything from legumes... More
