We were recommended by our host to try this low to mid range cost restaurant with traditional cuisines. The husband and wife team, without kitchen assistants or waitress served the full house. No waiting no short service the food was perfect and so well prepared. Value for money is not saying enough. Ring and reserve a table and enjoy.

We have visited this lovely restaurant in May and October 2016 and at both occasions enjoyed the ambience, the excellent food and the welcoming ways of the hosts

A compact restaurant with loads of character. The fixed price menu was a bit more expensive than many other restaurants, but it was well worth it. Run by a couple, the wife does the cooking and the husband handles front-of house. They both speak English. We have eaten there a couple of times and have no hesitation in recommending it.... More

This restaurant is one block off the main street on Rue Chateaubriand. It features traditional French cuisine with a Moroccan influence. We loved the flavor of all dishes. Prices were moderate, ordered à la carte. Three wines are available: red, white or rose. For beer lovers: Leffe on tap. The dishes we loved were starters paté en croute and salade... More

This restaurant serves really good food at a great price. Very attractive decor - old books and all sorts of knick knacks, you would never be bored looking around whilst you are waiting for your food. Extremely friendly owners nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend

At first sight this family run restaurant looks like a bookshop as the walls are lined with books. The building is very old and has a charming feel about it. There is a menu with several choices and the cooking is home cooking. We had a lapin terrine to start with followed by turkey casserole, both excellent. The bill for... More

So cozy and homey, I was daydreaming I spoke French - which was not necessary as the proprietor spoke great English. My potato salad starter, veal plat and creme brûlée were excellent and warrant a 5, but spouse insists the pork chop was just so-so and the vegetables overcooked (hey that happens at home sometimes too right?). Would definitely eat... More

I like pretty much everything about this place. I went two nights in a row and, I'm ashamed to say, had the same meal twice! I liked: - the ambience: it's authentic and the place is decorated with love and caring - it's relaxed - the food is fresh and excellent - the serves are of a reasonable size -... More

Arrived early so only ones in to begin , though filled up later. Little restaurant with art/library decoration, very homely. Choice of about 6 starters and 6 main course dishes from fish to meats. We had aperitifs and pitcher of red wine, smoked herring then followed by lamb. Had to finish with mousse au chocolat. Delicious. Good food, god portions and... More
