New accommodating owners just set back from the main town known as the village. Locals eat here. Locally sourced food and wines. More like eating with a family than a tourist or fancy restaurant. Excellent food. Wide ranging menus. Great atmosphere. Great value!

It was hard choosing which of the long list of tapas to make up my 20 Euro plate, but I did and everyone was great although my favorites were the magret de canard and the aubergine. I loved the original painted tables outside (first really spring day) painted by Marco, a local artist capturing the spirit of Catalonia.

On a hot summer's day, on our way from Cadaques to Prades, we found ourselves in Argeles-sur-Mer and went and looked for a place to have lunch. We came across Al Raparou, and ordered chicken curry from their lunch menu. The place looks nice and has some tables outside. The curry was fine, and was just what we needed.

My sister and husband has stayed in Argeles the last two years, and when we went there in June this year they told us about how Al Raparou restaur ant was. During our short stay of only six days, we went there twice, and each time had a great meal. Our thanks to Sandrine and Manu for providing a lovely... More
