I chose a tartare de saumon as a starter and the plat de jour which that day was a poulet basquaise. Both were correctly prepared and the service was pleasant and... More

We stopped in Beziers on our trip from Nice to Saint Castin. Road-tripping through La France. Great food, great, friendly service, superb weather - Merci!

Tucked away off the beaten track in the old centre of Beziers this bistro has a bar and a few small tables downstairs and a good-sized main dining room upstairs

My wife thoroughly enjoyed her vegetarian meal but unfortunately due to a language error I got the entrecote steak instead of the duck that I was looking forward to. As is normal for French steak it was a bit underwhelming. The service was very friendly and tried hard with English but was also rather slow. Leaving us thirsty and waiting... More

Went to L'Orangerie for lunch. I ordered the duck with ginger jus and it was perfectly pink and extremely tender. It was accompanied by pommes frites (what isn't in France) and a fresh, simply dressed salad. A glass of red wine to accompany the dish was recommended by the waiter and it complimented the dish perfectly and was not expensive.... More

Excellent restaurant the best meal that we had in our 6 day stay. Friendly staff and atmosphere. The veal Cordon Blue with a twist is to be recommended. Novel wine list is a shelf above the bar containing a good selection of wines and you just make your choice. Its nestled in a small side street just off Paul-Riquet Allee.... More

This was the closest restaurant when a very heavy shower of rain came on but we are glad we found this place! The service was friendly and quick and the food was probably the best of our trip. The burger with foie gras was outstanding. Would love to go again!
