Nicely varied menu of regional foods. Good wine selection. Attentive wait staff. For whatever reason, the lights were very bright the night we visited.

After a morning of wandering through the subterranean tunnels in the town, we were a little late in trying to find a restaurant but, happily, descended the steps into this small but agreeable restaurant where we enjoyed the 'Menu bien-etre' and a very nice bottle of Bordeaux. The fish soup and the mini quiche we ordered for starters were both... More

Eleven of us on a battlefield bowled up without a reservation and we were accommodated without fuss as three adjacent tables were pulled into one in seconds. After that 'Le maître du restaurant' looked after us impeccably. Sadly I didn't get his name (this was the evening of the 4/03/2017) to give him the mention in dispatches he deserves -... More

We ate at this very attractive looking restaurant with high expectations. The head waiter was very personable and the menu looked very inviting. 3 out of 4 of us chose the flemish stew which is a particular favorite and why we chose the restaurant. Unfortunatly we were very dissappointed. We had two small pieces of beef with a small amount... More

We were a large group which was accommodated easily. Service was good throughout. Menu was interesting. Food was at times very good but at others disappointing. Is it a sign of a good restaurant to serve burnt frites? Or a melt in the middle pud that wasn't? Did give the impression that as anglais we might not know any better!... More

Four of us each had a three course meal, plenty of beer, wine, and a bottle of champage, total came to 262euros which we thought was good value. The food was very tasty, the champagne fantastic, the house wine very decent for the price. As others have said, the waiter chatted with the locals a lot, but we weren't shy... More

A complete shambles. We visited as a pre booked group and had the set menu. Firstly the only starter is tuna mayonnaise to be shared with dry bread. The mains were very limited and took over an hour to come out. When they did the vegetarian options had chicken in them. When we pointed this out they took the dishes... More

I ate here with a lady who is allergic to cheese, must be the French Chef's worst nightmare. They were able to do a starter based on one from the menu but without cheese in the sauce. The menu wasn't massive, but what we had was excellent. The service was good, the food excellent and the choice of wine varied.... More

Very attractive restaurant in a great location with good (not great) food. It was too bad that the waiter was way more interested in talking with customers he knew than taking our order and bringing us our food. I had to get his attention while he was in a long conversation with his friends, and point to our meals as... More

Don't bother with the beef stew or the diet menu for that matter and if you can catch the waiter's eye you will be lucky.
