Cosy and pleasantly decorated restaurant. The Foie Gras (mainly duck) was very good and the Duck main dishes were equally very good. The selection of wines was good and our overall lunch experience was very enjoyable. The restaurant was full and the service was on the slow side.

The wines served are really good. On the other hand, even the meat was requested "bien cuit", it was served with blood. The potato which was served with the meat was cold, the deserts were not fresh and the coffee was not hot. I would not recommend this restaurant.

We had an overnight stay in Arras and chose this restaurant. It looked cosy and we could take the dog in which was a bonus. (although I know you can do this in most French restaurants) The staff were really friendly and helpful. They brought water for the dog and took photos for us so we could all fit in... More

OK, I'll admit that Arras was busy on the night. The restaurant however was not, there were several spare tables, many inside and two outside where we wanted to be - it was a warm evening, Arras was 'en fete' and we wanted to be able to get a feel of the ambience. No one to greet us, but hey... More

As my review title says, I only popped in here to use the loo as my son was busting to go. I always feel a bit embarrassed asking to do this in restaurants where I am not eating, but you cannot legislate for a 9-year old's bladder, so ask I did. Both members of staff I encountered had no problem... More

This restaurant serves great food from the south west of France: think duck dishes and andouillette (not for the faint-hearted but very tasty according to my boyf). I'd really recommend this restaurant

What a great find. Stumbled across this duck restaurant after searching all the restaurants in the two squares in Arras and not finding anything we fancied. The decor of the restaurant is typically French and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. My husband ordered the cassoulet and I had he duck breast with honey and thyme. Both meals were... More

We happened upon this restaurant which is just off the main square in Arras, and thought it looked promising as there were plenty of people eating there already and we liked the look of the Bistro type interior. We both love duck - which was fortunate as we soon realised that this restaurant specialised in all things Duck and Goose!... More

Being simple travellers we tend to go to the nearest nicest looking eatery we can find. As the town was very busy we opted for the first place that could fit us in. Unfortunately we didn't spot that it was a speciality restaurant and non of us fancied duck. After a chat with a very helpful waitress we opted for... More

Duck is the best choice. We had dinner and shared foie gras - delicious with a generous amount of bread/toast. The cassoulet was delicious and very filling. The duck breast with sauce natur was less so and the duck was a bit chewy. The potatoes ordered as extra were good. The cafe gourmand was a good choice for dessert. The... More
