We were taken to lunch at Le Manoir by friends who have a house nearby. I just thought I would endorse the many five point ratings already posted by others. the filet de boeuf was really excellent and the presentation beautiful.

For a really special occasion, this is fine dining that will blow your socks off. They offer the kind of discrete and attentive service of imaginatively presented dishes that clearly comes from a staff who take their profession seriously. The atmosphere is friendly, the decor impeccable and there's a comfortable little side bar where you can take an aperitif before... More

We have driven past this almost daily having moved into the area in the spring but hesitated booking a table as we thought it was super expensive. So we waited until our wedding anniversary and booked. We got a taped message stating that the restaurant was closed for annual holiday but we left a message booking a table for the... More

We last visited la Pommeraie 18 months ago and were immediately impressed by the new interior - minimalist while retaining the features of an old manoir - oak beams, granite fireplaces... Sunday lunch was a French family affair with many tables hosting 3 generations including many well behaved children. Staff were delightful - a charmingly shy young apprentice shadowed by... More

Visited on our last day of our week long break. Excellent value for money - 2 course lunch menu for 25 Euros. Staff friendly & attentive, Maitre'd English speaking (always helps!!) The chef / proprietor came out after dinner and chatted to us which was lovely as it gave us the opportunity to thank him for such wonderful food and... More

We didn't have reservations, but were well received. Ate the second best dessert I have ever had. Very good food at a reasonable price.

Service was very good, and the food good. However, I didn't feel that it represented really good value for money. Recent restaurant upgrades have been done well, but on the last occasion I went, there were few other diners and it lacked atmosphere.

we have eaten at the manor many times over the last decade. we have always had good meals and exceptional service. The owner/chef often comes to the table after the meal; to check on our experience, and is interested to take on board feedback. on one occasion when one of our party was pregnant the menu was adjusted to cater...
