Stopped for lunch on the way to the airport, without reservations. If we were not pressed for time, would have gone to the La Villa Madie, which is the 2 star establishement of La Petite Cuisine. Had the luch formula of 45 eu / person where you can choose 3 items from the menu. Service was great, food excellent. We... More

Excellent food! Fresh, clean and delicious. Unparalleled views of Cassis and the water. We sat on the terrace sipping champagne, enjoying the food and views and feeling like we were in paradise.

My husband and I had dinner at Le Petit Cuisine upstairs. The view of the coast was spectacular, and the food was very good. However, it was not the best meal I've had in France. There are smaller, lesser known restaurants in the Luberon villages, that offer similar meals, at a fraction of the cost. That being said, La Villa... More

The experience starts with the setting, on a cliff along a road that goes to the top of a mountain but the restaurant itself has a stunning view of the Mediterranean. But the view within is also captivating. A very fine experience and the staff is well-trained, professional, the food is quite excellent and the experience is worth every cent.... More

We were excited to visit Le Petite Cuisine as it is connected to the highly regarded, Michelin starred, La Villa Madie. Our experience, however, was anything but worthy of a connection to La Villa Madie. The food was well cooked but not well seasoned. Proteins lacked depth of flavor even though they were cooked to perfection. The wine list was... More

We ate here in early June 2014. The food was fabulous and the setting was intimate with an outstanding view of the sea. I had the pork, my wife had a salad. We both partook in the dessert. It got a little chilly with the wind off the sea and the staff brought pashminas for my wife and I. The... More

Our favorite meal while in Provence. 5 star service and divine food. The salad was a work of art, with roasted vegetables, arugula and warm goat cheese croustades. The cod was served with beautiful vegetables and came with a delicious aioli to slather on top. The strawberry napolean was as delicious as it looked with a pistachio cream filling.

"La Villa Madie Bistro is a stunning seaside restaurant in Provence with a proper gourmet pedigree. Renowned French chef Jean Marc Banzo opened La Villa Madie as an off-shoot to his successful 3 Michelin-starred restaurant Le Clos de la Violette, and the Deco-style bistro – with clean contemporary lines, chocolate brown tablecloths and cream chairs – has breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and the rugged cliffs of Cap Canaille. The bistro is a divine spot for lunch, and the seasonal Provencal menu features signature dishes such as the artichoke and onion mille-feuille, and a regional lamb dish with roasted garlic and goats cheese potato gratin. La Villa Madie Bistro's cellar offers a selection of fine southern French wines.
