Not a special menu, but we went with French friends who had booked. The last time we were here was in 2004 and it was dreadful. However with a change of management one can not speak highly enough of not only the reception but also the quality and presentation of the food. If you do not speak French - no... More

We returned here with high expecations and chose the Discovery menu - and our first surprise is that we had different dishes. Sea urchin and asparagus, trout and snails, pigeon, cheese, and a light strawberry dessert. Overall all very high quality but our sense was we would have enjoyed the L'ourson menu more. We would return and can recommend

In respect of other restaurant's in town this is not a quick dinner. But that was nice however because we went straight to the wine list it was a full 30 minutes before a drop touched our lips which from our view is too long. The tuna starter was stunning and my wife enjoyed the slow cooked egg. Mains were... More

I had read the good reviews of this restaurant so we booked ahead as it was full when we went in on the Friday night. The staff were attentive on the whole and very friendly offering us English menus. The decor is tasteful and the atmosphere relaxed. We took the menu gourmand which is excellent value and includes some amuses... More

We had a delightful meal at l'Ourson. It exceeded our expectations and was very good value for money too. Staff very pleasant and efficient. Busy though - book ahead of time. I'm glad we did.

The food here is excellent- high quality French menu - busy so you must book - we had dinner here in January - an excellent meal but the service is cool - no rapport with the customer - No eye contact - efficient but not friendly.

We took the menu gourmand... it was simply fabulous. À real treat, every course was beautifully présented and thé flavours were delcicious. Would definately highly recommend thé Ourson. Just one critique.... the genepy was à slight low point....but did not distract from à super dinner.

L'Ourson offers inventive modern cuisine in a charming environment ... at a very reasonable price. The various set menus are somewhat different from that of most restaurants of this pretty mountain resort. The wine list is interesting and the service is efficient and friendly. We went there twice for dinner and once for lunch in August 2016 and always had... More

Not at all what we expected to find in a mountain resort: A gourmet restaurant, with pricing very little different to the other local restaurants, but food on a different level altogether. On our first visit we ate from the set menu, and were so impressed we immediately booked for the following evening, when we ate a la carte. Quality... More

We arrived early (7:30pm) and were lucky enough to get the last table. (Based on our visit booking ahead is advised). The decor is very tasteful with wonderful highly polished wooden tables made specially for the restaurant. Even the plates on which some of the main dishes were served were really distinctive. The staff were really helpful and friendly, especially... More
