When you walk into the restaurant it smells so good. We often take the menu at lunch and get the soup. They are really good. All the curries and meals are good. They look small, but two mains with nam is enough for three people.

After reading its excellent reviews, I have visited Sitara along with my friends. Personally, we felt it was expensive and not at all worth. The waitress forgot that we were waiting for her to return with our order. We all ended up ordering chicken curry varieties. Even with their different names, all had the same taste with the exception of... More

The food is excellent, I had a tandoori chicken on my last visit. Though I ordered it spicy, it was verx mild, so I guess it is spicy in "German" terms, not Indian. The waiters were polite and attentive at first, in the second half of our visit they were busy in the kitchen (to be fair, it was a... More

Sitara has a great reputation amongst locals and regulars to the Konstanz area, having been in business serving up authentic Indian food for well over 13 years. It normally has a queue outside on weekends due to its popularity, so its best to book in advance if you are planning to go on a date or something. Although due to... More

The Sitara is arguably one of the best curry houses in Kontanz. The food is tasty, the service is excellent, and the general atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant is great for taking your partner out on a nice romantic date, although if you are going to do that try to tame down on the garlic dishes! This restaurant was even... More

A very elegant restaurant, with kind waiters. If you're intolerant, just tell it to the waiters and they'll help you choose the right plate for you. A little appoint: the food is very good but a little "heavy". Keep it in mind when you order.

We reached at 2pm and were told by the lady after getting seated that they cannot take orders but can serve drinks. We were really embarrased as the timings clearly said 11:30 till evening on Sundays. Somehow the chef has to get off work and we felt bad of not having food and it took us a while to search... More

We had our lunch here today. The restaurant is well decorated with Indian taste. Service is friendly and attentive. We had some dhal chicken and lamb curry with basmati rice. We enjoyed our lunch. Also the espresso coffee was rather Italian style!
