Great place to eat, good choice of Fayre, well presented, and very tasty at a reasonable price. Staff very helpful, and great service. Recommend to all travellers.

We had a wonderful dinner here coupled with lots of tasty white beer! The food was delicious and homely as was the ambience. Definitely recommend this place to hang out with friends!

Had a wonderful time at this restaurant. Food was excellent. Staff was very friendly. Location is right in the center of town, near a beautiful lake. We intended to eat at a table for four, but as friends came in, we grew to a group of 12. The restaurant easily accommodated us and ensured that we had a great time.

It was cozy and not too loud in an December evening. Guests were mostly families with kids. Only 2 or 3 couples. We had schnitzel with pommes (around 11€) and schwarzwälder rump steak (around 17€) with bratkartoffel (fried potatoes, ordered separately as Beilage for 3,30€). Schnitzel was thin enough, not too dry, and crunchy bread crumbs till the last bite.... More

During my visit in December I ate dinner at the Bergsee as there are very few restaurants open in the small town of Titisee during the time of my visit. I found the service to be very good, but the food was average. The food was warm and was served quickly, however the taste and quality could be improved for... More

* read till the end for a detailed chain of events:) So It's a tourist trap:) but as such it's open when nothing else is, it has warm greasy food to comfort you when it's cold out, and they will accommodate your touristy requests (like hosting 14 ppl at a time without reservations). And yes, the meals, although junk food,... More

We had soup and cake at lunchtime here on a chilly October day. The Black Forest Wedding Soup was very good. The servers were friendly and spoke English. There is a menu in English too.

When we arrived in Titisee late in the evening we were very tired and hungry. After a short walk, we decided to visit Bergsee restaurant, even though we were aware of the typical tourist traps in touristic places like that one, and to be honest, Bergsee looked exactly like one. Far from truth though, this restaurant is a warm and... More

Had lunch with friends. We went for the fish, as it sounded fresh and something you can only find in this area. The fish was okay, not the best tasty food. Overall, the experience was average.
