We were once again impressed by the fresh ingredients and the great value for money. We ate pikeperch with oven-baked vegetables and rosemary potatoes and herb dip. The fish was cooked to perfection. The pizza was well seasoned and the tomato soup was fruity. The service was very attentive and friendly

In the evening reserved for 5 people. We had pasta, three kinds of salad and vegetables with zander, as well as appetizers.
The dishes looked delicious and tasted that way. Price performance ok.
We had the corner table to the terrace exit. This was disturbing, as there was constant through traffic as long as someone was sitting there. The pasta was too long in coming compared to the other 3 dishes. Also, the service was sometimes unstructured as the customer was not clear. Digital payment no problem.

Very nice Italian restaurant in Bodenmais. The food was excellent and the staff very attentive. Both the pasta and pizza dishes were first class . The outside seating area was very pleasant. We booked each time which is recommended as it is popular.

I don't understand the mostly very good reviews. Creepy, uncomfortable tables and tasteless decoration. Martini bianco is served in a water glass. Bruschetta is very good, the pasta is OK. Tomato salsa here is 6 halved cocktail tomatoes drizzled with oil. Strange. As soon as you've ordered, no one comes to ask for more drinks, let alone if everything is OK. The pizza at the next table looked more like crispbread. Hire a trained waiter? Only cash payments these days? Really? Price-performance ratio is good, but it's not a real treat (neither the food nor the ambience).

Amazing Birthday dinner provided by the lovely staff of Cafe Zucchero with candles and flowers - so romantic! 💕 fantastic food, good wine and all wishes catered for. Best of all- I could organize this beautiful birthday dinner for my family while I am in Australia. Cafe Zucchero were most accommodating and so easy to deal with! Just wonderful country hospitality- highly recommended! Thank you Cafe Zucchero!

The restaurant was very busy when we arrived, but we had reserved a table.
The starters arrived promptly and were very good (bruschetta and soup), as were the drinks. The main course took a while, and I received mine first. I didn’t want to start eating until my partner’s food arrived, which the waitress noticed and offered tokerp mine warm for me.
Although I appreciated the gesture, it would have been better had both dishes arrived together really.
The food was good value for money, the restaurant was clean and service curteous, but quite loud, so not exactly a romantic setting. Overall goid value for money, but not spectacular.

We had lunch here twice on our recent visit to Bodenmais. The pizzas were very good. I also tried a pasta dish which was good. Very generous portions. The staff were very friendly and remembered us.

We ate at Zucherro the first night. Our host from our B and B called, and they were already closing, but stayed open for us. Very nice friendly service and the food is very good! Price is also good.
