A good hotel, although on the main street, so a bit noisy. The dinner and breakfast were reasonable, as was the room. Worth staying if in the area, but not massively special

We enjoyed a delicious meal in the bar on Saturday evening, the staff were very friendly, the meals were hot with plenty on some very large plates at a reasonable price and lots of choices on the menu. Thoroughly recommend this delightful pub.

Visited the woodborough inn for a spur of minute meal with friends, a lovely place inside! The food arrived and was well presented; nice salad and bun, but the burger was vile, and the chips weren't much better. Disappointing.More

Had Sunday lunch when staying in the village. Seasonal ingredients, local brews, pleasant staff, reasonably priced, and not tourist orientated. Simple preparation and presentation, just what we were hoping for. Happy to return when in the area again.

Returned but with my family this time. Kids pizzas weren't the best (reminded you of those 4 for £1 but costing far more). For the adults- vegetarian option looked really good, as did the meat pie. Puddings still excellent
