We found this little place by accident while visiting Winscombe as part of a nostalgic trip to our childhood haunts. It was Mother's Day afternoon and the place was busy but we found somewhere to sit outside. Had a good cream tea served on old...fashioned proper china. Staff were friendly and the price was reasonable. Would recommend.More

My husband and I had passed this cafe a few times while staying in the area its tucked away in the centre md Winscombe just on the bend of the road that goes out towards Banwell. At last on our departure day - we got...to pay it a visit. So glad we did - we had a warm welcome, a warm quiche just out of the oven and the most fabulous lemon drizzle cake any soul could ask for - we were very torn between that and the Apple pie - homemade and also just out of the oven - we'll have that next time because we will be back at the first opportunity. Also to commend - lovely lady in charge - thank you Also now realise they do Sunday lunches - if only we had known - on this form, I imagine they are lovely - next time thoughMore

I cannot rate the Pantry At Winscombe highly enough! Always welcoming and more than happy to cater to all dietary requirements. Brilliant staff and service. I used the team from the Pantry to cater for our recent birthday party - 100 guests. The menu was...inventive and varied, all communications well received and so accommodating especially as we requested a full vegan buffet! On the night of the party the food arrived exactly at time pre arranged, it was so beautifully presented, tray after tray of delicious food. Unfortunately I didn’t get to take a photos and regret this as it really was a picture to behold, colourful food decorated with edible flowers, so so beautiful. All of our guests commented on how delicious the food was, surprisingly so for our meat eater guests! 100% satisfaction, please do not hesitate to use The Pantry for any events, promise you won’t be disappointed! Our favourite village cafe, lovely staff, great choices on the menu. Delicious home made cakes, quiches, scones & more. . I recommend the bacon brie & cranberry toasted sandwich & the lemon drizzle cake- both my favourites. The staff are very adaptable with the menu,...if you waht to alter items they're happy to do this. We visit every week, I meet my mum & her friend in there for lunch. Pop in for breakfast, lunch, coffee & cake...highly recommend The Pantry, we've been going in there for years, are regulars.More

Me, my parter and son stopped here for a drink and hoping for a bite to eat whislt riding along the strawberry line, we ordered our drinks which came out pretty quickly and staff were attentive. But unfortunately this is where it went down hill...for us, the cups, glasses and milk jug we was given were filthy with grease and old crusty milk, my coke had what looked like dried milk floating around in it. When I took my coke back in to let them know, I nearly slipped on the floor where it was so greasy. One lady replace my can of Coke and seemed quite rude as I did not want to order food from there. But upon returning outside I noticed the new can of coke was filthy all around the top. After this we did complain to which a diffrent lady was very apologetic and gave us a refund. Will not be returning due to the lack of cleanliness and hygiene in and outside the premises.More

I often visit the Pantry for lunch with friends and have been meaning to write a review. I love this place. What makes it so special is the people who work there. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the lady who owns it is...just lovely. Today I visited with a friend and I had my favourite - chicken, brie and cranberry panini. It's such a great combo and comes with the tastiest coleslaw and freshest salad. You know when the salad is going to be good when the tomatoes are deep red in colour. My friend had the brie and cranberry sandwich on granary - she was blown away. The bread was cut thick and was clearly fresh in today. And don't get me started on the cakes! i usually have the Victoria Sponge with apricot jam (it's insanely good) but today I went for the lemon drizzle. It did not disappoint. I now can't decide which one is my favourite. The menu inside is varied and they serve breakfast all day. A great cafe, run by caring people and a wonderful ambience. Thank you :-)More

We had a family visit for breakfast, which was served promptly, by very welcoming and efficient staff. The food was beautifully presented, and perfectly cooked. Tea served in bone china cups and saucers and lovely tea pot. However, we did feel that the tables were...a little close together. Well worth calling in if you are in this delightful village. We will go again.............we will look forward to it.More

What a wonderful little place in beautiful Winscombe. One of us was at risk of hanger on a Sunday morning jaunt in the country. The Pantry saved our bacon, and the mood, with a lovely cooked breakfast, with great service too. Highly recommended.
