We had been walking all day and had good appetites! We were not disappointed; delicious food and wine. The delightful Irish landlord/chef came to talk to us all after the meal. Lovely place.

Just popped in here on the off chance for a quick lunch. Mushrooms on bread starter and burger and chips were bloody lovely. Chips were some of the tastiest that I have ever had. Reasonable prices. Would not hesitate in going back.
Great place, whether you're after a few beers or a bite to eat you're made to feel equally welcome. Food not haute cuisine but good value really well cooked pub food.
