The welcome is warm and all the staff are really friendly. Dogs are not only welcome, but treated as customers to the extent of having their own dog menu. The food is tasty and well presented, the only downside is that it is not in walking distance of where we are staying.

Lemon tart dessert. Wow what can I say. Delicious , totally homemade. Creamy , just lush. The chefs here certainly know how to do food . 100% quality. Even my little dog wasn't left out. Treats to help yourself from the bar , or a perfect doggie menu. Definitely we'll be back to eat their home cooked quality food ,... More

Garden is lovely, very pretty setting and the car park is pretty tight! The price of food here is "up there" for sure - I think based on the lack of competition around, so they can get away with it. £13.50 for a burger is a bit steep, even in central London. It's seasoned mince in a bread roll with... More

First visit here to this pub. The food was wonderful (I had roast beef) which was cooked perfectly, the gravy was really good!! and the staff were nice and friendly. Will defiantly be coming back especially to sit in the pub garden to watch the ducks go down the river :-)

A delicious breakfast is served until 11:30. The full English is very copious and really sets you up for the day! Our quibble with this restaurant was the slow service. We waited too long for our meals to arrive.

My wife and I were in the area and sought a pub for a light Sunday lunch and came across The Woolpack by chance. It was a chilly but sunny day and there were many diners already eating outside as well as inside when we arrived around 12.30. We were warmly welcomed and chose a table in the bar area... More

Great meal out. Hadn't booked although we had planned to eat on way home. Good welcome and given a choice of tables. Solid pub menu but selected off the specials menu. Our choices were a pan fried duck, served with figs, goats cheese and asparagus, and a scampi made from monk fish served with proper 'big' chips, mushy peas and... More
