Visited the Nobody Inn on Friday 21st April for dinner, as my earlier review said it was great all round. As I was so full after the main course but love my desserts - we promised to return for dinner again on Sunday and I asked specifically would the Blood Orange Parfait be on the menu. I was told no... Ate here twice recently while staying in Doddiscombsleigh. Very nice meals, wonderful inn full of character. Service very good, fantastic selection of alcoholic beverages. The inn has a good range of playing cards and board games to borrow and play at your table, a great idea.

Great local beers and lagers; very nice food. Spoilt by the lady at next table continuously feeding her really smelly dog under the table. Why do English allow this? It is disgusting. The carpet really stank afterwards because of this dog.

Visited The Nobody Inn years ago and decided it would be nice to have a drive in the Spring, revisit the countryside and see the hedgerows in bloom... The horrid weather put paid to that notion but the warm welcome was certainly worth the journey today... The Inn hasn't changed, the wood burner was lit, the staff were friendly and... More

Excellent food, service and location. We had smoked salmon and fried squid as starters and both had steak which was perfectly cooked. Service excellent and no long waiting despite being very busy. Perhaps a duster could be put around but otherwise excellent.

After waiting for a long time at the bar. I was told they aimed to impress to encourage repeat business. Sadly it went badly from there. I ordered chicken terrine which arrived with no toasted chiabata. Had to go to the bar to get some. It arrived untoasted. The chicken terrine was bland and tasteless. I then had the beef... More

Had dinner and stayed over with a group of friends. Good food, great bar. Some of the service at breakfast was a little quirky but this didn't spoil the experience

An old pub/guesthouse but lacking a thatch roof! I would have thought that it would have had a thatch originally but it has been replaced by a tiled roof. Still looks old but a thatch would have given it more character. Three of us visited for lunch. Impressions not good when waitress/barmaid could find no record of our booking. Eventually... More
