We went here as a couple to have lunch. On a Friday holiday we arrived with no reservation at around 13:30 and had to wait for about 45 minutes. The staff took our name and number and gave us an accurate waiting time. The service and food quality was great. We had a tuna steak with vegetables which was delicious, every single thing 😀 For the dessert, we wanted something they didn't have anymore but they advised us to have the hot chocolate cheesecake which was fantastic! With soft drinks the whole thing was 44€ Recommended!

Such a restaurant as Foz restaurante will completely change a holiday. Its subtle taste and eloquent design captures a feeling which is truly uplifting. Our hire car was damaged the day before, and my parents were freaking out dude! It wasn't too bad from my point of view but hey ho. So we were on a bit of a low note, but stepping into the screne yet warming atmosphere of Foz restaurante lifted our mood and the food filled our guts 😉. Joel (our waiter) was excellent and helped us pick out our meal; the food was delicious. All in all our visit to Foz restaurante was scrumptious and watching the sunset from the panoramic window was priceless 😋. Enjoy your meal darlings, bubbles says goodnight.

We went on a Saturday for lunch, calm and peaceful atmosphere, very professional and attentive waiters. Well-grilled fish accompanied by incredibly well prepared vegetables. Excellent food. Wonderful desserts. Place to visit again.

No reasons to come back to this restaurant. As tourists we found the ad of this place on our way.. We thought we could have had a nice dinner.. But 1) very poor service overall. The food came very late and without any excuse 2) the marisqada (see food platter for two - 29 eur) full of fried potatoes in a lake of oil, the octopus was like gums, 3 mussels and 3 shrimps.... 3) the salmon was overcooked and not fresh 4) the ham as starter was just full of fat and of a very low quality.. 5) meat full of a mix of oil and water.. 6) no credit cards accepted Bye bye

Best part, Restaurant with excellent location, spectacular views, the food is something to forget. We ordered monkfish kebabs and monkfish rice, compared to the kebabs, they had little fish and the shrimp were dry, I couldn't peel them and they cost €20, not even half worth it. The rice was broken and cost €35. I expressed my displeasure to the waiter who cleared the table, I asked him to convey what happened to the person who prepared the dishes, but no one showed up, then they say that customers never say anything to the table, I speak to the table and leave my feedback here. It was very bad, the meal was terrible for what I paid. Not to be repeated.

Very bad experience. Very bad service, we went with children and we felt uncomfortable because of how they looked at us and treated us (we made a reservation, so I would have preferred if they had told us beforehand that we couldn't go with children) and they treated us poorly. Besides, the fish we ordered (bream, sea bass and tuna) were super dry, something essential from my point of view. My partner ordered beef with pepper and he didn't like it either, it had a lot of peppercorns on top. We ordered prawns for the center and they are not of quality at all. The only thing that was good for us was the octopus. In short, a very bad experience.

We recently had lunch with friends at Foz Restaurante in Praia da Areia Branca near Lourinhã. This was my first visit. I ordered the grilled sea bass which was fresh and properly cooked served with the usual boring boiled beans, carottes and potatoes. A room with 2 tables occupied and they didn't let us have lunch because they had a lot of reservations. It was 12 and 30 and, according to the "doorman", the tables were reserved for 1 and 1 and 30... we could come back around 2. Anyway , here's the record and thanks for such an attitude that led us to have lunch at a restaurant in Peniche, without reservation, and where we had an excellent meal.

Excellent fish, very good meat and reasonably priced. Unfortunately not a 5 stars because of ridiculous long waiting time to get your order (1 hour and 20 min) The waiter spoke no word of English.

I've visited and reviewed before , nothing has changed , probably worse than before , entered and waited to be spoken to , we were completely ignored , no eye contact , smile or greeting by any staff , we had to ask for a table , we ordered our drinks and food at the same time , food was brought out quickly , had to ask where our drinks were after we started eating , no apology just unhappy staff , none smiling or interested in there work, no one asked us how our meal was , food was average . They got the bill wrong , we went to pay with a Portuguese debit card and were told they don't take foreign cards .....had to explain its the same bank the restaurant uses , its on the card machine ......unbelievable , the only reason this place is popular is the location , anywhere else and it would shut in 2 months , staff need retaining in all aspects of there jobs .
