Set amidst thatched cob dwellings in a small village. Need to book, has accommodation and skittle alley. Also available for wedding receptions. All food is sourced locally I believe!

The Langton Arms had been recommended to me by a work colleague and suggested it was best to book due to its popularity. Situated in the picturesque village of Tarrant Monkton the pub is quintessentially English. The pub itself is divided into three distinctive areas, each with its own entrance. You can choose to eat in the restaurant – more... More

At the start of March 2017 10 of us ate here twice in 3 days. The menu was varied, the food was delicious, and as local as possible, and the service from Alex was outstanding. We all enjoyed our visit and would recommend it to anyone.

A superb experience. We were five adults, from two and a half to 90 years old. Great children's playground, lots of outside sitting area and well prepared dining in functions room. The food and drinks were excellent and the restaurant management exemplary! A good choice of very well presented food and great care was shown on what would have been... More

Chose the Langton Arms as it was a good location to meet my sister for lunch. We were very happy with our food, stuffed aubergine, which came with vegetables. We didn't order starters or desserts but were offered a sample of the home made soup and a delicious chocolate cake on the house. The meals appear quite pricey but as... More

Dear Dorsetsbest, Thank you for your candour & giving us a try for yourselves. The food was great, family of 12 made up of three generations, all looked after very well by the staff. The little people aged 8 years and 6 years were also made welcome. We will go back another day.

Food was excellent, great quality and quantity at great price for the standard. Service was excellent and they couldn't do enough for us and even provided a bespoke menu as one of our party had many food allergies. We will definitely visit again and would recommend. Thanks so much
