I just want to note that the dish titled "Stir fry beef and egg with rice" is actually gravy with egg and rice. I was expecting some sort of fried egg and beef but still enjoyed it after seasoned with loads of soy sauce and pepper. Quiet place

This restaurant is centrally located near the train station. There's limited free parking if you come here before 6pm. I found the food to tasty but the service to be poor.

Read the title . Enough said . Combo it with a avocado smoothie or 3 colour drink for maximum enjoyment . The service was quick and friendly too.

I have seen this eatery previously on the occasional visit by train to Footscray Market: it has been here for more than 20 years. The restaurant was clean; the waitresses' English was poor to middling, but we got by. My dining companion had the pho which he pronounced fine. He was a reapt visitor. I had chicken with snow peas... More

I was first taken to Phu Vinh by some of my Vietnamese students (I am a retired ESL teacher) about 25 years ago when I was teaching in Maribyrnong. The cost of Pho then was $5, although the Vietnamese could get it for $4! Not a lot has changed since then and I still drop in now and again for... More

Nearly 2 pm when I arrived on Friday and few diners remained so service was good. I stuck to the daily specials and got the "Thai Prawns" with steamed rice and pot of tea. The meal came sizzling hot and had eight large prawns with the veges and sauce, and almost too much to eat. I will return, prices reasonable,... More

My family ordered the various pho available. Some had chicken and some had beef. Though delicious, the broth had lots of MSG. I myself had a dry mouth and a migraine artery the meal. The pricing was reasonable at an average of $10-$15 a bowl, depending on what you order

We quite like this restaurant. Not super special but we have been there on several occasions. Singapore noodles, noodle soup, fresh spring rolls all good. Service is fine. Food always served quickly.
