Campervans are welcome, indeed electric hookup is available, there are numerous local walking options and the welcome from Karen and Richard is as warm as their lovely fire! Karen’s home-cooked food is superb and not of the ‘chain pub’ microwaved variety. I’m already ‘scheming’ another...More

Nice old fashioned pub with garden, large kids play area, the food was not wow, but kind people. Local beer on offer is Tetleys. Food - substantial portions, but not stand out - would readily go back for a pint.

Publican and family most welcoming. Friday night steaks were great. Just what we were looking for after travelling most of the day.

Found this great pub in the 'Brit Stops' directory. (A publication exclusively for touring motorhomes. You can over-night free, but it's nice if you have a drink or a meal.) We immediately warmed to the landlord Richard, who after a few minutes was soon answering...More
