We were staying in a nearby holiday cottage and the Butcher's Arms was recommended by the cottage owners. We were greeted by the landlord almost as soon as we walked in the door. After a drink in the bar we ordered our four meals. We...More

A real jem hidden in mold, very traditional with a old time charm, impeccably clean, consistently delivering quality food ,large portions,it's no surprise it's been in the same family for 110 years because in my opinion they have got it just right.

Nice old fashioned pub with garden, large kids play area, the food was not wow, but kind people. Local beer on offer is Tetleys. Food - substantial portions, but not stand out - would readily go back for a pint.
