The quality of the dishes is high and well balanced (set menu). The wine list is extensive, and however, not cheap. the qulaty and advise was very good. This restaurant can be highly recommended!

My wife and I visited in May with a small tour group, and we had a fabulous experience. Chef Jean-Philippe Guggenbuhl offers traditional favorites, such as La Cassolette d’escargots à la crème de Riesling (snails in riesling cream sauce) and Choucroute traditionnelle à l’Alsacienne (sauerkraut made with goose fat and diverse pork cuts). They paired well with the ripe, exotic,... More

Taverne Alsacienne continues to be one of my favorite restaurants in the Alsace. The restaurant has a classy but not ostentatious feel. Wait staff are professional. Our choices on the menus were varied with the set price menus ("Du Marche", €30, and "Gourmand", €36) being well composed seafood dishes as main courses, with appetizers showing imagination and flair. Desserts were... More

The good ratings in Trip Advisor made us choose this restaurant and we have not been disappointed. Nice restaurant with very friendly and hostile staff. We have been a party of four for a Sunday lunch. Our dishes included: frog legs / foie gras / asparagus soup / salad for starters and cod / veal for main course and an... More

We went for a lunch, this is a restaurant which seems to be fully booked every day. Easy to understand if you only pay €16 for a 3 course lunch. Also the more elaborated menus are very reasonably priced and the qualtiy of the food is good. The wine list is impressive, reservation is needed.

As long time visitors to Alsace, we have visited many restaurants from traditional Winstubs to Michelin star rated. Each visit we try to 'discover' at least 1 new restaurant. This time it was Taverne Alsacienne, which has been recommended to us by friends, has a long history and an even longer wine selection. To make a long story short, it... More

Excellent food with moderate prices. The waiters could enough English to help out with the menu. Restaurant was well occupied but the tables were well separated from each other.

We were not expecting a restaurant of such a quality in Ingersheim!! We choose a menu and asked the chef for advise which wines to drink. His choice was very good even considering we had visited soms vineyards, earlier this week. Good food, nice sauces, excellent service - in short: a feast for the eyes and the stomach. Highly recommended.

Food, wine , service, rooms - everything at a very high standard. Food with fantastic tastes - wine at right temperature and taste to go along with food. Might a small improvement to offer wine packet with the fixed menus.
