Stayed here for a weekend with family. Lovely place and setting. Very friendly staff. Lovely continental breakfast (extra but good value). Rooms small but adequate. Would stay here again.

Together with my three friends I spent 3 nights at the hotel L'Eolienne and we enjoyed dinner in the lovely restaurant as I knew from past experience just how good the restaurant is and how popular it is with local people also. Meat dishes are cooked in plain view over an open wood fire by the joint owner who really... More

My friend and I were on a weekend trip to Dieppe and had selected L'Eolienne for an overnight stay and evening meal as we wanted budget accommodation near to the ferry port and the Saturday market. The rustic hotel is clean with compact rooms which do offer exceptional value for money. The owner is a very friendly and charming lady... More

We stayed at L'Aeolienne mainly because the restaurant had excellent reviews. The hotel was fine, basic but clean and just what you would expect for a **. The evening meal was pleasant enough but the portions were massive which is OK if that is what you are looking for.

This Restaurant is charming in itself and the menu is so ample, it was difficult to choose. We chose the mixed-grill 4-course menu and barely had room for desert! There is a large variety of dishes to please every palate. Not to be missed!

We had a great meal here and even though we have limited French one of the waiters was able to interpret for us. The other waiter, even though he did not speak English, was so animated in his attempt to show me how to eat my bulots (snails, whelps) and really wanted me to enjoy them. We had been travelling... We stayed at L'eolienne just recently. The hotel was nothing special, Basic rooms, although clean and quiet. We didn't therefore expect much of the meal to be honest but it was amazing! Pate to start, very nice, a tasting dish which came as a surprise and then I chanced the steak, but was worried it would come back a little... More
