My recent visit to long island we had dinner at Lloyd's the food was extremely good. The stew fish,fried fish and everything we had was so good .The service provided by Valencia was the best. I enjoyed the food and attention .Can't wait to visit...again soonMore
We were not impressed with Lloyd's. The service was good but the food was unimpressive. I had the fried chicken, side of Mac and cheese and salad. as they were out of the first 5 other things we asked for. We did order a pizza...to go and it was okay. My husband had the fish fingers and said they were just okay as well.More
This is a nice spot for people who like to play pool. So many tables in great shape as my husband states who plays pool. The food was average.
They were out out some dishes when we went for an early dinner. Seems busier and lunch and late at night. It is close to Deans Blue Hole, right across the road from the turn off. Mutton was interesting!
Unbelievable amount of pool tables for such a small island -at least 18 - probably the most in the Caribbean. Managed really well from the raised front bar. Bright ,cheery ,good beer , loads of sports tv's. Really good food at good value- the cracked...conch was great as were my friends burgers. This place would not be out of place in Chicago. supports a thriving island pool league. I've yet to beat Chester. Sorry Tom - no sheep's tongue souse on the menu this time.More
Plenty of room! Plenty of tv's for sport watching! Great food. Separate room for club like music...but very very loud! Couldn't really enjoy it because it was way too loud! I'm sure other nights offer different type of music at a quieter level???
This spot is kinda generic sports bar vibe, not very Bahamas-ey, but clean cool and conveniently sited by the roads to several great beaches. What I really need to mention is the fried chicken lunch I received here. I was at first disappointed to see...that idea been served the breast quarter of the bird, which can be kinda dry....only to bite into the best piece of fried chicken I think I've ever had...!More
We are diehard Michigan State fans and were desperate to find a spot to watch the Elite Eight game. We hurried over to Lloyds where the game was already playing. The bartender, staff, and patrons all humored us kindly. The burgers were great and the...beer was ice cold... what more could you ask for in a sports bar!More
Although this place was recommended by a local, I now assume that it was a geographically based recommendation. It’s across the Queen’s Highway from the road to Dean’s Blue Hole. It is new, with plenty of big screen TVs for watching sports, and the seating...is nicely done and comfortable, so it would serve that purpose well. The first thing we were told was that there was no fish. I had the ubiquitous fried conch, and my wife had nachos, complete with cheese sauce from a can, which was a dish one could find at any dive in the US. My daughter was able to order peas and rice along with French fries to satisfy her vegetarian needs. The peas and rice were delicious as was the coleslaw, but the entrees were plain and unremarkable. Stop here if it’s convenient, but this is not a place to seek culinary artistry or Bahamian authenticity.More
We stopped here after visiting Deans Blue Hole. While there is not an authentic “island” look or feel to the place it is clean and air conditioned which was great after the hot sun and sand. The prices were decent, the food was good, and...the beer was cold.More
We had the coconut shrimp and then the grouper along with some drinks- all was very good. The A/C is cold as are the beers. Very friendly service. We were the first ones there at lunch but it did start to fill up as we...left. Would definitely recommend.More

A friend and I had a meal her and the food was fabulous. I had the seafood pasta and he had different types of chicken wings. Surely enjoyed my food with the nice cold Kaliks .
Brand new building with clean restrooms. Average menu with good service. Had club sandwich and fries; others had conch fritters, which were gooey. Not the best on the island.
