With my partner we were looking for a simple traditional trattoria but with homemade products, and we found much more, we found flavors like those of our grandmother, we found an environment like that of home, and a wonderful setting in a small village that seems to have time stopped. Luciano and his staff offer a fixed menu with starter, 3 first courses, sorbet, 2 second courses, sweet coffee and coffee killer at a negligible price, you can feel the quality because nothing is heavy. Luciano cooks with passion and love and it shows in every dish, and he is also a beautiful person, you talk to him for 2 minutes and you feel like you have always known him, he does catering in a pleasant place where nothing is around the corner and he really succeeds well, go there if you are looking for passionate, homemade and sincere food. We recommend it to everyone and will return whenever possible. Thanks Luciano.

Very nice place, friendly and welcoming managers, you sit down and on the table you find an excellent ciliegiolo and a superlative oil, followed by the tasting menu, bruschettine with mushrooms, cured meats and grilled vegetables, three first courses, Maremma ravioli, gnocchi with mushrooms and tagliolini with truffle, all very tasty and light, right portions that allow you to taste each course, two second courses: suckling pig (superlative) and wild boar (very good). We finished with cantuccini and tart. The bill was more than honest, €27 per person.

If you are looking for a real Maremma trattoria... Welcome. They treat you like an old customer even if it's the first time (for us it was) .... Food what you expect (homemade and all homemade) ... tasting of starters 3 first courses 2 second courses and sweets the same x all (unless special needs are promptly met) including wine, coffee and liqueurs, tortelli, gnocchi, wild boar... the Maremma in short. All for €27....friendliness and hospitality are free.... Small note.... In the morning at 10 they told me to be complete, maybe give me (you snap at the first phone call) the number and I'll put it in if I can... At 11 he calls me and says "2 places have run out I'll wait here'. This is the real Maremma..... Well done and see you soon

Attracted by high level reviews we decide to try this restaurant, upon reservation. Internally the place is small but on summer evenings it uses the road that passes through the heart of the village of Pereta, which is truly suggestive. All very nice until the food arrived. Fixed price menus, with possible reductions, give the sensation of canteen dishes, already pre-cooked and without particular care. The ham and tortelli were passable, the gnocchi with mushrooms were mediocre, the tagliatelle with truffle flavored were terrible. Seconds scant and anonymous. In general, despite the particular location, it seemed very overrated to me, there is better in the surrounding area.

Location firm in time with a timeless charm. Table set in the street that give a sense of a country reality of yesteryear. Friendly owner, attentive and helpful staff. Great traditional food. We ate the set menu consisting of Maremma tortelli, tagliolini with truffles and gnocchi with mushrooms, second course instead of suckling pig and wild boar.

In the charming village of Pereta which seems to exist outside of time, my wife and I had booked this restaurant well in advance. A place that smells of antiquity, welcomed with cordiality. Unmissable is the tasting menu with mixed starters, three first courses, stewed wild boar and fantastic roast pig with potatoes. A lot of stuff but ultimately the portions are not exaggerated allowing you to savor everything. Bulk house wine as much as you want as well as bottles of water. Finally cantuccini and pieces of homemade cake with a choice of vin santo or limoncello and for those who want coffee. Attentive service and right times. The quality of the food is good but above all in these times uniqueness counts, as long as you can keep it up and we'll see you again soon.

A friend told us: you want to come with me to a restaurant in the hills you eat well. Ok ! We started with appetizers: Grilled eggplants bruschetta and sliced "wonderful" But when the first arrived, .... guys ... a dream: ravioli Maremma, gnocchi with porcini mushrooms but show tagliolini with truffles: simply divine. Pause: lemon sorbet then stewed wild boar and roasted piglet as well these spectacular. Sweet coffee and coffee killer. All this opens the modest figure of € 30.

Places like this should be praised and preserved. As soon as we arrived the owners welcomed us as if we were regular customers, while it was the first time we had been to this small but well-kept trattoria. The fixed menu consisting of a starter, three first courses, two second courses, sweet coffee and liqueur did not scare us, as we are avid eaters. All excellent, with a plus for the wild boar and truffle tagliolini, large portions, good house wine and suitable accompaniment. The service is quick and courteous, the final score I would say is from other times both for how and how much we ate and for the pleasant, familiar and friendly atmosphere. Luciano, owner and chef always smiling, eventually came to greet us and have a chat; once we left we immediately said: when are we coming back?

Always a unique experience and pleasure....excellent food, perfect atmosphere....if you like good classic Tuscan food without too much refinement but paying attention to the substance...it's the right place...Luciano (owner and chef) is exceptional for hospitality and friendliness..n.1. Nothing to say about the dishes, excellent and plentiful. No stress... to leave room for new customers... here you only work one shift, you calmly eat, drink and socialize with the nearby tables... it's always a pleasure for me to come here. I've never reviewed, but after seven years of coming maybe it was the time....it really deserves it. And last but not least...a value for money that I haven't found anywhere yet.

I don't usually do the review in the places where I go, but if, as in this case I do, it's because it's really worth it. This place is really, really great starting from the delicious and genuine food that made me rediscover the flavors of home cooking like my grandmother's (very rare now to find in restaurants). Pereta, the place where it is located, is a beautiful medieval village very characteristic and suggestive. The staff and the owner are very nice and kind and make you feel at home. At the end of dinner we gladly stop to chat and have a laugh together, really simple and authentic people. Then the price was 25€ each for eating 3 starters, 3 first courses, 2 main courses, dessert, lemon sorbet, wine, water, coffee and bitter, I really can not find a defect, if I really have to find one is that this place is not near my house 😅. Good to all, congratulations to Luciano and his family who carries on this tradition of good Maremma cuisine. Thank you for the evening that I will bring as a souvenir of this beautiful holiday here in Argentario. Arrivederci a presto! Marilisa and family

Very nice, cozy-homely ambience. Luciano already greeted us warmly on the phone and then in the trattoria - and so it continued throughout the lunchtime. The food is served heartily and comes with a new refinement and fine nuances every time...Vino & Aqcua - Antipasti - Primi - Sorbetto - Secondo - Dolce, Grappa & Caffè.. Superbly arranged in the small kitchen, every time a poem...thanks Luciano for the enjoyable experience - a la prossima...grazie tantissimo...

The atmosphere of eating in a narrow alley was great. You can only order drinks and then the 7-course menu is served. And that was great, highly recommended. With lemon sorbet in between, we all thought that was the end. But it continued. To finish, limoncello or grappa plus espresso. When it came to paying, I almost fell over. Including mineral water and vino rosso della casa per person, it was less than 30 euros. 4 service staff ran like rabbits to serve all the guests quickly. My big compliments to the kitchen and staff. It was worth the trip, we will be back. Make sure you reserve for the evening, at least in season. Many thanks again to Luciano and the great team. Rudi from Germany

Were it not for the low cost of the set menu and the nice suggestion of eating in the street in a nice village, I would say that it would not even be worth it. Instead the place is nice and you eat fairly well, not so exaggerated as the reviews deceive. However to try

On Recommendation of our hotelier we stayed in this trattoria located in the town center. I state that the value for money is excellent, however... but the ravioli almost cold even not. Food is served in quantity and evidently this is what the patrons like the most. Luciano and all the staff are very friendly and kind. Waiting times are "non-existent" and perhaps you could give some breathing space between courses (personal opinion ehhhh). Overall to try but there are ample room for improvement.

Never had such a bad meal in a restaurant, quality comparable to that of a canteen. Starter: finger-thick raw ham, burnt tomato crostini First course: industrial gnocchi, industrial truffle sauce, edible tortelli Second course: dried and burnt potatoes, wild boar served cold Dessert: acceptable cantucci
