We stopped here for a coffee and what an amazing surprise we found. The cakes were delicious - was recommended the Queen Victoria cake and was not disappointed. The chocolate cake was rich but went down so well. The staff were friendly and helpful. The decor is lovely - attention to detail. Loved the plates the cakes were served on... More

Try the red velvet cake which is made onsite. The chocolates are also delicious and handmade. you can watch them making them :)

Delectable confectionary and scrumptious cakes uplift the Nicolway shopping experience. We drive from far to shop here, not least on account of Melt.

We love stopping off at Melt for a great cappucino and something tasty to eat. Our favourite is the wholewheat scones, served with grated cheese, jam and cream. Always hot and fresh. There are other tasty sweet things - the carrot cake is divine, as is the lemon drizzle cake. They make amazing chocolates on the premises. Well worth a... More

We visited here on a public holiday and were glad we booked! There were quite a few people waiting for a table. The food was incredible, with good portion sizes. Definitely try the hot chocolate! The manager/owner was so attentive and friendly as was the waitron staff. Will definitely go back!

Great coffee, wonderful cheesecake, friendly attentive service. The best in Nicholway for a break from shopping, and a light lunch. Service is the best in all of the Sandton area.

Travelling to South Africa from the UK this is always a "must visit" for some cake and coffee. The coffee is always good and the cakes fresh and tasty. I also like the fact that they sell freshly made chocolates that you can either have with your coffee or take home. The staff is always friendly and the service is... More

People watching is part of the fun when visiting the restaurant located in a busy passageway in the mall. They make their cakes and chocolate treats on site. The menu is limited, but has something for everyone. Waiters are attentive and friendly and the food is tasty with some banting treats.

I must just start by saying we should've probably rather had one of the amazing looking cakes or sweet treats instead of lunch. But we wanted something savoury at lunch time so unfortunately ordered "gourmet" open sandwiches. They were ok but no great shakes at all - simple (looked like) regular sasko bread with a bit of hummus, lettuce, tomato,... More
